Location: Erentia
Ollenium System
I've been deployed onto the planet of Erentia, along with twenty other Imperials, to rid of the remaining Separatist droids. We're all on individual missions; all of us are to meet at the rendezvous point, approximately thirty kilometers southwest where I am currently located. We must complete our missions within one day, or else risk being left behind.
Right now, I'm camping at some ruins of which I suspect used to be a Jedi temple. It's night, though, so I cannot confirm this guess of mine; however, I collected material I am sure must be kyber crystals. Once I have cleared out the droids come dawn, checking the place out is out of question. There surely must be resources valuable to the Empire here. There have been rumors spreading through the divisions of a gigantic weapon being constructed, one which uses these same crystals. I have to prove myself as a soldier with worth, if I am to pass through the ranks. Hopefully Thrawn will at least upgrade me to commander. If this weapon is going to be used against the Rebellion, the rank of general is a definite possibility. I mustn't get my hopes up, however.

My special thanks to you all for helping me pass 300 followers. Just.... Wow! I honestly didn't expect to get so far in only five months. It's been a very fun and enjoyable ride, and I'm so glad I've gotten into Flickr. It'll definitely make this summer feel a lot more productive XD

1. Total film freak. Top two favorite films are Birdman and Whiplash.
2. Music is dope. Kanye, Monstercat, Two Door Cinema Club, Phoenix, Gorillaz, Alt-J, Milky Chance, and epic drum solos are where it's at.
3. Math is beautiful. Don't tell me otherwise.
4. Favorite Lego set is either 2014 AT-AT, Orthanc Tower, or UCS Slave I. Volkswagen camper is also purty cool.
5. My best Lego creation is a toilet.
6. Most anticipated film for me is Loving Vincent, the first ever movie to be animated with paintings. If you live in France, the film is being premiered there for the first time this summer, so you may wanna consider it ;)
7. My "dark ages" lasted for mere months. I'm happy for that XD
8. Favorite game is The Last of Us. T'was buteful.
9. I haven't played video games since last week (I think?)

11. Oh, and I also draw. My best picture is of an ear. It looks like it could be Obama's, but I guess that's up for debate.

This is the first desktop that I am submitting to this pool. League of Legends is one of my favorite games, so I thought that I would incorporate it into my second attempt at a Rainmeter desktop. The background image is Diana, one of the many champions in League. While I do not play her in the least, I thought that this image fit the bill of the look that I was going for.

It’s nearly February in 2019, but r/EDM on Reddit is just now revealing the results of their Best of 2018 voting. Right off the bat, we have to note that the subreddit boasts nearly 440,000 subscribers, and yet the most votes in any single category was 405 for future bass. That is 0.09% of the total subreddit population.
Now, let’s move on to the results. The top two comments on the thread right now are referencing the EDM circlejerk and unwanted results — well, of course! No one voted! The results of the survey skew heavily toward the main stream, not that that’s particularly unexpected, either.
Winner of best artist for big room house? Martin Garrix, no surprise there. Dance Pop? The Chainsmokers, check. Future bass? Illenium, of course. Future house? Don Diablo, who didn’t see that coming. Although, props are due to Nora En Pure for winning best artist for tropical house & commercial deep house.
It also seems that the results could have been skewed by a large influx of Monstercat fans — just look at the drum & bass and electro house categories.
All this being said, another huge congrats is due to 1788-L for nearly sweeping the midtempo bass category after only a year of being active. The only categories he missed out on went to Rezz, for best album/EP and best mix. 1788-L also won best breakout artist overall.
