A B23-7 drills the Southern Railway yard in Monroe, Virginia. The grass growing in the yard tracks is a good indicator that this yard’s future is in jeopardy. Today, a single-track main line and one siding are all that remain here.
Absolute World is a residential condominium twin tower skyscraper complex in the five tower Absolute City Centre development in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The taller buildings have been nicknamed the "Marilyn Monroe" towers due to its curvaceous, hourglass figure likened to actress Marilyn Monroe.

A buddy and I headed to Big Cypress National Preserve on a clear-New Moon-night in April. We arrived at Monroe Station sometime around 3:30 a.m. I was happy to capture this panorama of the Milky Way. Six images were taken and stitched. I used a 16 mm Rokinon lens stepped up to f2.8.

At 18 to 21 inches they are medium-sized ducks. The male is grayish with a white pach on the back edge of the wing, a black rump and sandy-brown head. The female is mottled brown with a white patch of the back edge of the wing.
They inhabit freshwater marshes, ponds and rivers. They can also be found locally in salt marshes.
They range from southern Alaska to Minnesoata south to California in the west and western Texas in the east. They can also be found locally in the eastern US. They winter in much of the central and southern United States.

We were coming home on a back road short cut and came upon our son's tractor. Stopped and texted him the pic and he said he had just left there. He works long hours.

Roadside scene on a back road detour. The bridge is out on the main road. My wife picked up our 2 granddaughters after school and as soon as they came into the house they told me that I had to go take pictures of the pretty leaves.

Lac Monroe, Mont Tremblant National Park, Quebec, Canada, seen from the end of "La Roche" trail, which takes an hour to walk up, it started to rain (which was absolutely not in the weather forecast BTW) soon after I reached the top. I waited 20 minutes sheltered by the trees for it to pass, and this was the scene as it was clearing.
