We had 4 days of cold weather, but now it is moving on and we get the warm weather back. Phew!

Using an old manual Nikkor 55 mm Micro Lens, set to f2.8, with two Nikon 27.5 mm extension tubes.

I admit to being very clumsy and sadly I managed to break this stopper from an expensive crystal decanter. Needless to say, 'her indoors' was not amused.

This is a battery powered lighted pen that we got when we attended the eBay Live 2003 Convention in Orlando, FL. It was on my moving sale table when I decided to try for a Macro Monday entry this week. I was able to get just a few shots before the batteries died.

HMM! Sometimes it's just meant to be. I had fun this afternoon photographing this calla lily. It dawned on me that I had not looked at the theme for Macro Mondays, and was delighted on checking that I could use this "edgy" calla lily shot!
This is the darkest blue I have in the pond, The colors change during the day from light to dark,
I know it looks purple now, the name of the Lily is
Blue beauty.
