abstraction of a bridge that is not accessible anymore. it used to be the only way to my house yet, years ago, it was replaced by a modern bridge. i have taken many photos while on this bridge or Mud River below. now it is so warped, i am not allowed to even walk on it. time and nature provides so much stuff to photograph!

E' un albero che fotografo spesso e in ogni condizioni meteo. Questa l'ho scattata una mattina di novembre dello scorso anno.
Most of my photos are stolen moments of time. They are shots around the farm or shots as I drive to or from work and a scene compels me to veer down a dirt road. A sudden breach of light through trees or clouds that turns the ordinary into the extraordinary. I’ve come to treasure these moments, urging the light to hold still long enough for me to grab the camera. Every now and then I get lucky, more often I'm slow to find the shutter.

Der Gelterswoog ist ein Stausee auf der Gemarkung der westpfälzischen Stadt Kaiserslautern (Rheinland-Pfalz). Drei Taleinschnitte seiner Zuflüsse, darunter das Walkmühl- und das Kolbental mit Kolbenwoog und Kolbenmoor, sowie die Verlandungszonen am Seeufer sind seit 1997 als Naturschutzgebiet Täler und Verlandungszone am Gelterswoog eingestuft.
