As usual the effect of a momentare inspiration. This time it was triggered by the good, old movie 'Cobra' with Sly Stallone running somewhere in the background and the unforgettable 'Angel of the City' song scene sequence.

This was shot during my walk through the narrow streets of Stone town, Zanzibar. It was Saturday, the end of the Ramadan and the Eid festival started that evening. The streets were very tranquil and silent during these moments, it was siesta time and almost everybody was indoors, resting and waiting for the dusk and the beginning of the festival..

While crossing a corner I saw these two boys, and momentarely aimed my camera and shot this. At the same moment the boy looking into the lens alerted the other one, and my split second opportunity had passed..

and the quitness of the lake is slightly, momentarely, disturbed

Six weeks after they left the bedroom to go downstairs, they have momentarely returned. It was a great way to start the Sunday.
