Between a few rain showers, I had a wonderful time photographing my daughter's maternity / mommy to be photographs. The sun rays were fabulous and the North Shore location near Haleiwa, Oahu, Hawaii, was perfect. Her baby girl Kaia is a beautiful mermaid from the ocean.
Pregnancy isn't always easy. The extra emotions, fatigue, morning sickness, and difficulty to find a comfortable position to sleep. But, just knowing your baby is growing inside of you is one of the most rewarding experience a woman can enjoy.
This was taken back in June when Kayla was almost 8 months. I just did some tweaking and added a frame.

omg.. I can't believe how the time flies.. I just hit 30 weeks today. My latest thing is the nesting.. Man, I'm a cleaning and organizing queen right now! Aside from that.. I have to say the best part is still feeling my baby move and how it's changing and letting others experience the movement..
I was at my nephews b-day party and My sister Nina was dying to feel the baby but no such luck.. it seems that when someone really wants to feel the movement my baby gets shy! Nina wanted to take a silly pic of her face by my belly and Well, she got the surprise of her life when she knelt down put her hand on my tummy and POP!! the baby kicked auntie! You shoulda seen the look in her eyes followed by instant water works.. it was priceless..
So.. the room is painted and ready for finishing touches.... house is getting organized.. I'm all registered and waiting for the big dates to come!
