Kawela, Huewai Gulch (east of Puu Kolekole road). Chamaesyce sp., akoko. The leaves are decussate, which none of the species recorded from Molokai are; but sometimes C. celastroides can be variable.
On our way from Molokai to Maui we saw a ton of Humpback activity. There was a group of five males doing competitive behavior, bashing into each other. Very fun to watch. This individual breached a number of times to my delight!
