+ the subject is in focus and the lighting is very good. The photo conveys movement very well because the eye follows the whale's path as it dives.
- Because of the fact this was taken on a boat the camera lens has a little bit of mist on it making the photo more fuzzy then I would have liked

Module 7 Photo Improvement. With this photo I cropped and sharpen color and contrast color. I feel that this photo capture the image I wanted of my Grandson in a natural setting although I could have did a beeter job with managing the color.

The Apollo Lunar Module, or simply Lunar Module was the Lunar lander spacecraft that was flown between lunar orbit and the Moon's surface during the United States' Apollo program. It was the first crewed spacecraft to operate exclusively in the airless vacuum of space, and remains the only crewed vehicle to land anywhere beyond Earth.
Structurally and aerodynamically incapable of flight through Earth's atmosphere, the two-stage lunar module was ferried to lunar orbit attached to the Apollo command and service module (CSM), about twice its mass. Its crew of two flew the complete lunar module from lunar orbit to the Moon's surface. During takeoff, the spent descent stage was used as a launch pad for the ascent stage which then flew back to the command module, after which it was also discarded.
Ten lunar modules were launched into space. Of these, six were landed by humans on the Moon from 1969 to 1972.
The total cost of the LM for development and the units produced was $21.3 billion in 2016 dollars, adjusting from a nominal total of $2.2 billion using the NASA New Start Inflation Indices.
My first attempt at module 3's coursework. I didn't go out with the intention of doing the course work, i just had a go at the shot to see if it would work.
Unfortunately the trees aren't quite dark enough and the sky is a bit dark. I used evaluative metering. Think I will try spot metering in future.

After several attempts, I've settled on this one.
28mm (=56mm on 4/3 sensor) f/11, using an old manual lens.
I used spot metering with 2.3ev over-exposure. I found spot metering gave a more accurate black, particularly on the compass face. Other metering modes needed a lot less over-exposure (around 0.3ev) but when the white was white, the black was dark grey.
I used a piece of glossy white card as a reflector to get rid of some odd reflections.
I tried smaller apertures, but they didn't get the lid so out of focus, which i an effect I like.
another picture had a lovely glow to the gold, but the sun's reflection meant that the white was a little muddied.
Its been fun, though a little frustrating getting there!

I was at home this weekend with my family and decided to take pictures of the Merrill home from the “outsiders” perspective. I changed my ISO to 400 for most because it was cloudy, but also had a little bit of sun shining through. I put my white balance to auto to help me automatically balance the color. I had my aperature set to f/11 because there was sun shining on the items I was photographing.

It's common for a club to have a module under construction on their show layout - it helps the visitors see how a module is constructed in stages, the layers of baseboard, scenery and track building on one another.
