The NanoRacks Module-7 mixes samples of two or three liquids in microgravity. The science goals for NanoRacks Modules are proprietary. The client base is international, with researchers from North America and Israel involved in using the hardware and forms the basis for future space station research.

The "Y Module" was created in 1988 and published in "Modular Origami" a self-publication. The module, folded from square papers is based on the 60 degree geometry. When assembled, a "Y" band is form on the triangular faces of the model and a small pinwheel motif on all the corners.

3 of the 5 Platonic Solids can be assembled from this module. They are the Tetrahedron, the Octahedron and the Icosahedron. All of these polyhedra have triangular faces.

6 Modules, folded from 15cm square Kami are used to assemble the Tetrahedron.

This is my version of the Heptagon Cross module.

The angle for the exact heptagon has 64.29 degrees. My approximation here has 64.33 degrees. It is quite close to it.

The steps 10 to 13 are just for hidding some paper. You can do it also in other ways to get some variations. The width of the flap shouldn't be wider than the width of the pocket.

The assembly of the modules is similar to the assembly of the square cross modules, here only with seven modules.

Voskhod 1 descent module, 1964

The three cosmonauts' couches inside Voskhod were only fitted with difficulty, making the crew crane their necks to see the instrument panels. With no space for a means of escape to be fitted, a retrorocket slowed the spacecraft as it returned to Earth, enabling the cosmnauts to remain on board for the entire mission.

This one of twelve Lunar Modules (LEM) built for the Apollo missions. The displayed model was not flown. The module, which measures 6.4 m high and 4.3 m across, carried a crew of two in a 6.65 m3 space.

The Lunar Module has two principal parts: a descent (landing gear, landing radar antenna, descent rocket engine, fuel and cargo compartments) and an ascent Module (crew cabin, instrument panels, communications antennas, ascent rocket engine and fuel, battery power, and breathing oxygen, etc).

The first manned mission to land on the Moon was the Apollo 11 in July of 1969. The Eagle, the Lunar Module of Apollo 11 landed on the Moon after some unexpected technical dificulties on July 20.
