Felt, thread and sterling silver. April 2011.
I have been laser cutting felt as part of my experimentation with textiles and textile techniques. I stitched together this form as part of a series of jewellery based on the theme: Organic Modular Structures. This felt object can be manipulated into different forms by pushing a side in to form concave surfaces anywhere on the form.
My small modular synth, taken for a blog post about a presentation I'm making tonight in Philadelphia.
3 modular builds for coffee, pizza and ice-cream. I guess it is time for something cold. All builds have the same Basic structure but difference is in the detail. The back alley can me lighted up and the pizza oven burns. Although the most popular business, it seems to be a coverup for something shady.

12 nodes in the circle would change the sound, while the middle 4 nodes can change the internal patching to change how the outer node ring responds.
My pcb design is all self contained with dc and audio jack. Also it allows users to repatch the touch patching system to obtain the exact response they want.
The station retains all the modular parts of the original set (10937 Arkham Asylum Breakout) plus my platform. You can extend the station with the sections near the ends of the picture, and then cap it off with the platfrom enders.
Created the alphabet out of uppercase letters that were constructed out of five shapes (a square, four rotated right triangles). The main characteristic that I wanted my letter forms to have was a medieval personality. Medieval-looking typography is usually block-like, but fancy with various serifs and diagonals. The "I", "N", "T", and "Z" were the most challenging to create because of their thin appearance ("I" and "T"), or their inclusion of diagonals ("N" and "Z").
Just a tridecagon cross with another outside end. Many other variations are possible.

Main living quarters complete with big tv, sofa, lazy boy, bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinet with alarm clock and lamp. Far end is the minimal kitchen just enough for what a bachelor needs.

I have started the real building with bricks using two sets and other pieces. However when I have built it I software I have used many many other pieces because I have made all detailed interiors and other particular details as floors.
