During the afternoon of Friday July 19, 2013 a strong convective band, just ahead of a potent cold front sweeping south from Central Ontario, caused widespread damage. Just minutes after this Modis 1km Infrared image was taken, convective wind gusts caused large trees to fall and overturned cars in Coldwater and Gravenhurst, Ontario.
