This handsome art nouveau house was built in 1904-05, designed by the architect Jiří Stibral and exterior details by the sculptor Ladislav Šaloun. In a city known for its beautiful turn of the (last) century architecture, it might also be worth remembering what was torn down to give way to this - in this case a 15th century house.
The lettering of the Goethe institute matches the exterior quite well, but is a much later addition. This building started life as the headquarters for a bank, and after the second world war, it was an embassy - first three years for Bulgaria and then for East Germany, all the way up until the unification. So it is perhaps not that surprising that it was here the Goethe Institute moved in, in 1991, both to teach the language and as a place to present the culture.

This Art Nouveau house was built 1903-05 - the architect was František Schlaffer and decorator Josef Fanta. It was made for the choir Hlahol to have their rehearsals, financed by donations. The choir is still housed at this place.

(Evropa is the Czech for Europe.)
This grand art nouveau building at Wenceslas Square in central Prague started life in1872 as a building in the Neo-Renaissance style. Its current looks dates to 1903-05 when it was redesigned by Bedrich Bendelmayer and Alois Dryak. (At the same time the interior was overhauled, to obvious great effect since it has been used for films such as Titanic.) The hotel got its current name in 1951.
The current state of affairs for this hotel is a bit enigmatic. Up until a few years ago it was a 2-star hotel (so we can assume that the rooms themselves were a bit less grand), but it closed a few years ago for refurbishments and to turn it into a 5-star hotel. It was supposed to open again in 2020 - no surprise that it didn't, but the trail of information I could find ends there.
I noticed this pattern from afar with the cable torn off the wall ... Despite the presence of a camera, I decided to follow the theme of shooting that day ... And the theme was Fine Art with a phone! As a result, only a quarter of the entire frame remained. But it seems to me that the main thing is not the physical permission, but the one who is behind ...

Sagrada Familia seen at night from the viewpoint number 3 of the Guinardó Park in Barcelona, just above the Hoop Child Viewpoint. Sagrada Família Expiatory Temple, with the figure of W Hotel on the right in this night image, is the architectural jewel of the city and the prolific Catalan Modernism. Unfinished work by Antoni Gaudí, it’s a synthesis of his architectural evolution and the culmination of his naturalistic style. It’s the most visited monument in Spain in recent years, and, in 2005, UNESCO declared a World Heritage Site the crypt, the apse and the façade of the Nativity, on the left in this image, that is to say, the construction phases in which the Catalan architect could participate in life.

ENGLISH
The building of Roig house is a unique example of Romantic architecture in the Girona Pyrenees.
Roig house owes Dr. Robert, who decided to build the house as a second home between the years 1900 and 1901, on land ceded by the Campa family. The architect for this project was Simó Cordomí, who designed an impressive Modernist building of huge compositional complexity, using mediaval-style elements and parge-work façades with natural and artificial stone. It had a Gothis style main door, which was lavishly decorated and covered in Nei-Romanesque arches crowned with merlons.
