Lindal’s new A2 1500 brings together two building blocks, with moderate-pitch roof lines setting off each block. Created in the spirit of the original A-frame, this design features a wall of glass that can be positioned to make the most of your view. Drama and comfort come together in the main-floor master suite; an optional deck extends your living space outdoors. This compact 1148 square foot one-level family compound is zoned for privacy. The large communal element houses a two-story entertaining area and a pair of guest rooms for children, grandchildren, or guests. A flat-roofed utility element with a roof extension covered entry provides an ample greeting area and links the house to a remote master suite. Total Area: 1148 sq. ft.
On a sloped site, an optional addition of a walkout lower level would efficiently add 700 square feet and endless layout possibilities.
Four elements create a main-level adult haven. The communal element houses a two-story living room. Lofty glass corners frame a full height fireplace mass. The upper area is shown with one large bedroom suite, but is suitable for two bedrooms or a generous entertainment area for billiards. One utility element provides a gracious sheltered entry, and a second contains a generous master bath and dressing area.
