This mounted and framed tile is by Harris Strong (1920-2006), who operated a studio in the Bronx, New York from 1950-1970 before moving to Ellsworth, Maine. It includes an original label reading "High Fired Hand Painted Ceramic Tiles by Harris G. Strong, Frame Style HA-20 Tile Number 44 Group A Imported Linen".
