This glass vase was designed by Eryka Trzewik Drost (born 1931) for Polish glassworks, Huta Hortensja, circa 1970's. It was found in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

This vase is by the hyalyn Pottery Company of Hickory, North Carolina. Known as the Basketry line, it was designed in the 1950's by Esta Huttner Brody. It has molded marks reading "hyalyn USA" and was found in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

So my wife and I have an unhealthy obsession with white. If it were up to me everything in the house would be white. We finally bit the bullet and painted the wood floors in our circa 1900 Victorian home. These pics show it at about 80% complete, still need to put the 3rd coat on the floors and 4th coat on the trim.

My pictures of this wonderfully designed prefab home didn't turn out so well, therefore I borrowed other photos from the web.
The version shown at DoD: LA was 1000 sq ft, but the design is easily altered to create a 2K or 3.6K square feet home.
Inspirational.
Now if the cost of this building approach would begin to creep down a little, I think we'd see more of it. Right now, it's more suited for the comfortably well off types.
This ceramic planter is done in the style of Italian maker Bitossi's Seta line, but it is not made by Bitossi. It is hand-signed Italy R3 MA and was found in Arden Hills, Minnesota.

Developed by request of a landmark Lisbon restaurant bearing the same name, the Tavares chair is an object of thoughtful geometric lines, a “Shell” as a chair.
