This large vase is by Polia (1909-1992) and William Pillin (1910-1985) who worked in Los Angeles starting in 1948.
This ceramic ashtray is by Italian maker Bitossi, in their well-known Liberty decor and blue glaze. Hand-signed 69/8B Italy and retaining its original Rosenthal-Netter Import Sticker, it was found in Woodbury, Minnesota.
Here is a Kuhl Kitchen. Sexy cabinets, modern design. This kitchen was a part of a larger whole house remodel that won a Coty award in 2009. Kitchen remodeling in Edina is a staple for Kuhl Design and Build.
Two views of the common R-1919 vase by Royal Haeger, in their very uncommon Terra Moss glaze, developed by Alrun Osterberg Guest. The raised molded mark reads Royal Haeger USA R1919.

This small ashtray is by Italian maker Bitossi. Likely manufactured in their early modern period in the 1950's, it is hand-signed 594.B Ztaly and was found in Richfield, Minnesota.
This piece of mid-century glass is from the Viking Glass Company of New Martinsville, West Virginia. Part of their Epic line, it has a hexagonal base and thumbprint detail on the lid. It was found in Story City, Iowa.
This tall vase or jug is by 20th century French ceramic artist Robert Picault. It is marked RP and was found in Minneapolis.
Contemporary door project in Doral Estates in Florida designed by world renowed interior designer Paola Garcia locally in Doral. All modern-contemporary doors were manufactured by custom door manufacture "Deco Design Center" located in Miami, Florida.
Interior doors contemporary were "flush-style" with stainless steel and solid core wood with satin nickel hinges and levers.

This small pin dish by Royal Copenhagen features a hand-painted illustration of a bird, designed by one of the principal artists at the factory, Beth Breyen. It features the Royal Copenhagen marks and is numbered "107 1355". It was found in Fridley, Minnesota.

This large ceramic sculpture of a sitting buddha is by Italian maker BItossi. In the orange Chinese glaze, it is hand-signed 52/17 Italy and retains its original Rosenthal-Netter import sticker. it was found in Somerset, Wisconsin.
No loitering sign at the first "euro-style" McDonald's in Manhattan. Kind of goes against what they're trying to do with the place.

Brandeis College, Waltham, MA – July 1957. The Castle is an eclectic, Gothic-style structure loosely based on medieval castles from England and Ireland, most notably Cavendish Castle (Ireland). It contains sliding panels and apartments accessible by secret passageways.

Allegheny Mountain Hardwood Flooring
A pro-bono project where the students became both our clients and our design collaborators.
Working with Side Street Projects, a local non-profit, the students were asked to redesign the library.
The existing space was filled with rows of long oak desks and uncomfortable, straight back chairs.
In response to this rigid layout, the idea of a circular reading lounge emerged. This was combined with a circular bookcase to create a space within a space.
This large vase is by Italian maker Bitossi, part of the Genovese line. Unmarked, it features the original Raymor import sticker, reading 3794 BIT. It was found in Oronoco, Minnesota.
We have a large stock of surplus military grade aircraft aluminum, which is pretty interesting stuff to work with. Its just the opposite of soft malleable aluminum and it has a really high melting temperature. It can be worked with jeweler's tools nonetheless, and here we have inset domed and chased disks of aluminum into ebony disks. These are small, measuring about .5 in in dia.

I used some white gravel at the bottom of the cylinder vases holding the cymbdium stems to 'ground' the design. Wished I cut one smaller than the other! You can only get them out without damaging them by filling the vase with water.
My gold filled hoop earrings design in its mini cute version are created with a crochet hook using 14k gold filled wire.
The earrings circle diameter is approx 0.6"(15mm), search the earrings section in my shop to find these mini hoops also in silver.
