Strobist: 4 lights. Key is a B1600 in a large Octa, camera right, f/5.6. Background is lit using 2 B800s in 7" reflectors, f/11. There is also a SB28 in a Stofen providing weak fill (it is on the floor) , unmetered but 1/16 power. Triggered by Pocket Wizards.

Model from EFE. Depicting GM Buses Bedford TK (OBN143M), it was based at Atherton and often toured broken down buses back to the depot. Purchased at the Museum of Transport
Taken on Saturday 16th August at a cafe at Manchester Arndale. Forget the name of it now but it's next to Greggs and heading towards Market Street
A trio of Work In Progress EFE Alexander Y type models, all of which have caused problems throughout the code 3 process, from poor paint stripper to paint bleeding through masking tape. The first model, a bus windowed version, has been painted into the red and cream of Kelvin Central Buses with Lanarkshire Bus fleet branding. The second is a “what if” model. Based on a 1993 Strathtay timetable which depicted a Y Type in the companies more modern livery (one which no real life Y type ever wore). The second will join my growing fleet of Strathtay models in the solid base colours of block blue and orange separated by a white band.
So a couple of days ago, while my boyfriend was @ Kmart, I thought I'd asked him to see if they had any Top Model Barbies in stock. He had no clue what they looked like, so he asked the toy lady who worked there and she directed him to where they were.
He told me they had all three, so then I took a trip to K-mart the day after and snapped up all three! I originally just planned on getting them for their clothes, but I just might keep them as they are :o)

Driving through Pheonix Park I saw this model and asked the owner for a shot. He was packing it away and I didn't want to delay him. Wished I could have had more time with it. It had an 8cc 4 stroke engine.

I took 2 shots of this and in my haste really didn't give too much thought to the sky and this resulted in over exposure and with my limited knowledge really struggled to save something. There is a nasty effect in the clouds - especially top left that is caused (I think) by pushing it too much. Below is the other shot which I think the sky is better but more by accident than my skill but I like the layout of the first shot.
