This shot won first prize at the Stonewall Hotel Photo competition. Since then I have shot 1 other model and am looking at doing more model photography.
On July 6 & 7 the Chasewater Railway held an excellent model railway exhibition at their Brownhills West station. One of my favourite layouts was 'Tat Bank' a depiction of a fictitious breakers yard at the end of steam locomotion. Someone said to me that modelling a steam loco being broken up was harder than a working one and I can well believe it. This shot shows just how much detail the modeller has gone into, as we see workmen dismantling a loco's boiler.

Today I shot a model that wanted more shots for his portfolio. I don't shoot portraits very often so this was a good experience for me.
