This was shot at a workshop, using tungsten lighting.

Non-strobist: 5 lights. The key is a Photogenic Mini Spot (PMS), camera left. There is fill closer to axis, which is the modeling light from a Photogenic Monobloc (set to 2 stops under?). There is another PMS on the background, and 2 for rim, all set to I think 2 stops under.

Model is Kayla-Ann

I shot aperture priority at f/4, so whatever the EXIF says is what I shot.

It was Luda's birthday so we planned a celebratory shoot at a studio near London City Airport. It was my first time using this new space in the Docklands — and it didn’t disappoint. The studio was filled with beautiful wood carvings and sculptures, giving it a unique character I’ll definitely return to.

Strobist: Key is a Photogenic monobloc camera left, f/13 at ISO 200. Rim behind, monobloc in a strip, 1 1/2 stops lower than key. There is also a light on the background, but I pretty much nuked that in post. Triggered by Pocket WIzards.
