This was shot at a workshop, using tungsten lighting.
Non-strobist: 5 lights. The key is a Photogenic Mini Spot (PMS), camera left. There is fill closer to axis, which is the modeling light from a Photogenic Monobloc (set to 2 stops under?). There is another PMS on the background, and 2 for rim, all set to I think 2 stops under.

I shot aperture priority at f/4, so whatever the EXIF says is what I shot.

It was Luda's birthday so we planned a celebratory shoot at a studio near London City Airport. It was my first time using this new space in the Docklands — and it didn’t disappoint. The studio was filled with beautiful wood carvings and sculptures, giving it a unique character I’ll definitely return to.
