Normally that would be Fence instead of Wall but something as massive as this platform just doesn't fit the term fence...

This was one of my most enjoyable photo shoots ever. McKayla is a blast to shoot with - she brings a huge amount of energy, fun, curves, and sassiness to a shoot. I love the chemistry we have - we spend most of the time laughing and looking for new places and looks to aim for. The funny thing is McKayla considers herself a tomboy and not feminine at all. My camera begs to differ. We did this shoot on a lovely Fall evening in October 2021 at the Scentsy campus in Meridian, Idaho. Wow!
Each year my camera club arranges a model night; this year it was last evening. It's not my favourite subject, however these are my three favourite shots.
For LE 52 Weeks Assignment 42
Strobist: 4 lights. A variation on clamshell lighting I call "over/under". The key is an Elinchrom Quadra A head in the Deep Octa, without the outer baffle, boomed over camera axis, at f/5.6. Under this is a B800 in a large octa, providing fill at f/4. B800 on a 20º grid at the background (which is a white cyc), Another B800 as a rim/hairlight behind and camera right. The 2 accent lights are seasoned to taste - no meter readings.
Triggered by Skyport.

First modelshoot with two of my Siggies. As usual with my speedlights Canon 580 EX II. In this shot I used two of them with modifiers and the Lastolite Triflector with one panel down.
I am happy with the results! I also like my Canon 24-70L 2.8 to do modelshoots but the Sigmas performed well! So... I will take them with me as 'modelshoot gear' :)
