Travel Town 1, the "Charley Atkins", is an EMD Model 40. The 42-Ton industrial switcher was built in 1941 for the U.S. Navy. It is the Travel Town museum shop switcher. Behind it is Southern Pacific bay window caboose 4049, built by Pacific Car and Foundry in 1961. s/n 2288.
