One major problem with minilathes -- when making a cut, the tool holder may drift along the x or y axes. Nicer lathes include a locking mechanism to prevent this sort of drift, and so I've added them to my minilathe.
Added a lock screw to the Y-axis.
I drilled and tapped a 5/16-18 hole in just the right place. When I tighten this bolt, it presses against the Y-ways, so that the tool holder will not drift along the Y-axis.

Aniko, a custom RBL Blythe hybrid (unknown bait RBL base with Prima Dolly Saffy scalp) I customized years ago.
Example for Sandtrooper Platoon. This is just a quick and dirty MSpaint removal of the Kowakian, I wonder if the same thing could be achieved with a pair of scissors on a real sticker. For those who don't want the nose art.

And here are the Russians, all unnamed. Bottom left we have a soldier launching a 40mm grenade from a GP25 mounded on an AK47/74/12. By the burnt out Smart Car a Russian soldier fires his generic AR. The guy with the RPG is easily visible, it tough to see, but he took a .50 round to the chest and fired his rocket way off target. And lastly there is the handy work of Clement's AA12. The Russian gunner got his left arm shot off before he could fire his AT gun.

ENGLISH VERSION
This example is about a binocular of Galilei type with the indication "Mod. 08" (hard to read, left from the washer). The cross on the washer points to the utilization in the Swiss army. It is known that Goerz exported Mod. 08 examples to Switzerland. These glasses have also the Swiss cross engraved on the washer whereby the inscription "C.P. GOERZ BERLIN" is located right above the cross what clearly identifies the binocular (see www.flickr.com/photos/franksbinoculars/25466324184).
In this Mod. 08 there is an engraved logo on the lower washer what can be interpreted as "EB". Whether this represents the manufacturer logo is unclear.
On the right side next to the washer with the cross there is the number 7903 which likely represents a service number assigned by the Swiss army.

This nameless fellow came to me with unfinished mods, and i thought I'd be fine but I was way beyond my limits. Regardless, I think he turned out well. I'm just happy to have him, I've always wanted a Shiro Tachibana.
The pink hair is a surprise.
no name, feel free to suggest one! He's a witch hunter and a changeling human, stolen when he was young, who has been tainted by the fae world. The pink hair is natural. Like I said. Tainted.
I finally put up a larger quilt wall and threw my Mod Mosaic squares up there. WOW, this is amazing. Thanks to all the bee members for your BEEutiful squares!
Another straightforward mod (assuming you have tons of black pieces lying around). My only criticism of the Speed Champions series is their over-reliance on stickers, especially where head / tail lights are concerned (although the less said about printed exhausts the better). I frankly like my grill and headlights combo better than the original, though I do feel that the stickers added a lot on the rear.
The biggest failing of this mod is that I couldn't come up with a satisfactory way to include a rear spoiler, which is pretty essential to the V10. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open to them!
