A new entry into the "experimental purchase" category is the Arctech 002 Punishing Gray Raven: Lucia figure.
The character design looked interesting, but I knew nothing of the mobile game or of the manufacturer, Apex Innovations. But hey, it was lockdown and I was bored out of my mind.
Little did I know it would end up being delayed anyway.
I've got mixed feelings about this figure, partially due to some poor choices on my side, and other part because of the actual figure itself.
I blame myself as I probably should have picked a less lanky character for an entry into my collection. While this is a fledgling figure line, it seems like to pick the only ne that skipped every single gains day possible.
With regards to the actual figure itself, the actual finishes on the various parts are actually pretty good, and with the exception of one or two spots could go head to head with Japanese figures.
The quality control, on the other hands is not that great on some parts, with joints frequently pulling out of place when undergoing normal posing. There are also some tolerance issues, which resulted in a very frustrating experience trying to get photos done.
Finally, the engineering behind the figure isn't exactly earth shattering. I know I'm not supposed to expect like some sort of quantum technology or something, but you figure that between the material choices and joint designs that that range of motion of the hips would be better.

The idea was submitted by Charlie Saravia, an international traveler living in New York City. Charlie thought the iPhone would be a great tool for connecting backpackers and other travelers with people who are willing to let overnight guests crash at their pad for a night or two.
The app allows you to search based on where you are now, or where you are heading. Crashers can also rate pads where they've stayed for others to see.
The app allows you to list your residence, show photos, publish the rules of your home - like bed time, check out time, and so on. Owners of a pad can rate the crashers so that other pads will know what kind of a guest they are.
The app connects both parties and allows them to work out the details.

I recently purchased a Caster Gilgamesh Figma off Kijiji. Generally speaking, Fate Figma go for a premium price, so it was nice paying less than MSRP for a new figure.
Turns out that Gilgamesh was one of the more common Figma included as part of the 2023 Lucky Draw Box campaign. Because the '23 Campaign was very much Nendoroid centric, it's not one that I actually participated in.
There are several possible reasons why a Fate Figma, particularly one of a popular character like Gilgamesh, would have ended up on the surplus list, but I suspect it's one of two reasons.
First off, this look... really isn't doing much for the poor guy. Classic Archer Gilgamesh is dressed in his classic gold armour, armed with his lance, and is able to summon pretty much every notable weapon in the history of the world into battle.
I'm not sure what this guy does exactly, but he's dressed like Abu the Monkey from Aladdin with an eagle wrapped around his waist. He is armed with an Axe that looks too heavy for him, and what I can only presume is a magic tome. He's also not a particularly expressive character, unless you're looking for the multitude of ways he can express disgust.
From an articulation perspective, this figure features a waist, albeit limited in range of motion, so overall the waist and up are effectively optimal by Figma standards. The waist and down, however, motion is highly restricted due to the sheer bulk of the pants. While side kicking motion is generally uninhibited, the front/back motion is effectively non existent. So overall, you'll be doing many a variation on standing poses.
Paint and Build are the usual GSC standard, so there's no concerns here. Biggest thing would be to make sure you're taking it easy when putting the book into the floating stand, as the clear plastic parts tend to get stressed quite easily.

Good Game Campus bekerja sama dengan Fakultas Teknik Industri (FTI) And Fakultas Seni Rupa dan Design (FSRD) Trisakti University, telah sukses melaksanakan Seminar dan Workshop pada Rabu dan Jum'at yang lalu, tepatnya tanggal 10 dan 12 Juni 2015.
Keramahan dan semangat terpancar dari wajah para panitia penyelenggara yang merupakan staff dan teman - teman Universitas Trisakti dipagi hari saat tanggal 10 Juni 2015 menyambut dan membagikan snacks box untuk peserta Seminar. Peserta Seminar yang hadir di ruangan Auditorium Fakultas Teknik Industri (FTI) pun nampak sangat antusias.
Memang kalau sudah menyangkut tentang game, biasanya pria dan wanita dengan usia tua ataupun muda akan antusias. Apalagi Seminar yang diadakan dengan tema Technology Behind Imagination, The Process Of Making A Game From Big Ideas Into Programming.
Peserta Seminar yang hadir pada tanggal 10 Juni 2015 ternyata melebihi dari yang GG Campus perkirakan, yaitu lebih dari 100 mahasiswa Trisakti. Pembicara pertama saat Seminar yaitu Mr Denny Sung, Head Of Game Design Program Of Good Game Campus. Mr Denny Sung menyampaikan tentang business model game di Indonesia dan aspek design yang wajib dipelajari dalam bikin game.
Seminar pun berlanjut dengan memasuki sesi pembicara Mr Argadipa Pratama, Head Programming Game Program Of Good Game Campus. Mr Argadipa menjelaskan secara rinci tentang proses dari sebuah ide atau imajinasi dapat dikembangkan menjadi sebuah game dengan programming yang simpel dan mudah.
Selain itu Mr Argadipa Pratama juga sedikit memperagakan proses membuat sebuah Mini 3D Game menggunakan engine Unity. Nampak jelas ekspresi peserta Seminar yang terkesima dan mengagumi demonstrasi proses pembuatan game saat berlangsung.
Demonstrasi singkat yang ditunjukkan oleh Mr Arga memang untuk memancing minat peserta Seminar akan registrasi ikutan acara Workshop pada tanggal 12 Juni 2015. Dalam acara Workshop, peserta akan dapat merasakan secara langsung bagaimana proses pembuatan sebuah mini game yang biasa dikenal dengan mobile game.
