P.S. In case you ask, I'm planning to take a photo of Valentine M&M's too... :-)))

February 12, 2007. A cup of milk. One and a half ounces of unsweetened chocolate. Two tablespoons of sugar. One fourth teaspoon of cinnamon. Lots of whipped cream. And more cinnamon. A camera. After you take pictures, download them - and enjoy the hot chocolate. :-)

February 12, 2007. Seen in EXPLORE Interestingness.

I was dreaming of cup cakes during Gus's nap, so when he woke up we drove over and indulged in a cup cake or two. With a toy area in the corner I never really noticed- there will be more dates to come.

Couldn't decide which one to post, so I did both.

Can you pick out the difference?

Hell YES! BACON FTMFW!

There were so many different kinds of cupcakes there. Our heads spun constantly. Or maybe that was coming down from the sugar high? Whatever it was, I'm already looking forward to next-year's event!

This cupcake was one of my favorites there because of the...BACON! I know, sounds weird, right? But you'd be oh so wrong. I dunno what they put in it put it had a spicy kick to it too! My eyes almost popped outta my head when I tried it! It was that good!

The concept for Cupcake Camp originated in San Francisco and promotes a true spirit of community and sharing, and Cupcake Camps now happen around the world and come in a wide variety of flavors and sizes. The most essential feature of a Cupcake Camp is that it brings together people to share their love of cupcakes!

I am in Baltimore working for The Weather Channel. I was lucky enough to be taken out to dinner tonight. This crab cake was the biggest I have ever seen, and the best I have ever tasted.

Fox enjoys some time at her neighborhood Sonic Drive-In....

My friend, Rena, took me blackberry picking at a place near a pond close to where we live. I made my first blackberry cobbler. Kind of felt like Caroline Ingalls on Little House on the Prairie (which is what we were watching... thank you Netflicks... while we ate it). OK... minus the growing my own wheat for the flour, chopping wood and building a fire, buying the salt and baking powder at the Olsen's mercantile, milking the cow, and churning the butter... but other than that, yeah, I would have made a right nice pioneer woman tonight!

Vintage children's silverplate set from the 1950s -- back when you could mail in proofs-of-purchase with a small fee for "shipping and handling" and receive cool stuff. As toddlers, my brother and I learned our table manners with these, and now it's time to pass them along to his grandkids.

Andy R. brought me this cellphone charm back from his studio trip to Tokyo because he says it looks like me. I guess I need more sleep.

It was labeled "Robot" but I think it looks suspiciously simian.

Either way it's from mmmg who have been on a roll but still seem to be making only slight inroads to the US market. Those of you in Brooklyn can stop by Rena's shop to get your hands on some mmmgoods.

He wanted to taste them sooo bad. However, he didn't give in like last year as tempting as it was :)

Last Year

Fatter Bastile day!

There is something so wonderful about a chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing!

The great outdoors... my favorite kitchen

Cheap, quick, and lazy-person's dinner. Deli chicken wings and potato salad. Beverage not included!

Sometimes popcorn just sounds good! Often when I am late getting home and hubby has already eaten or not hungry, I will grab a bag of microwave popcorn for dinner. It is a vegetable right? I love the crunch, salt, and buttery taste!
