My early VJ work was all to DJs mixes and a few live bands. The software dictates the structure to some extent but the 3 layers, the banks of 25 clips, the RGB mixing and short nature of each clip provided a strcuture to work with. When I hit my stride favourites like the chase sequences from Crank and Pointbreak become my Jazz -improvised to themes ad so absorbing and fulfilling one forgets that probably no ones watching.... (theyre all staring at the band or chatting to mates at the bar) - a nice lesson in humility - heh heh heh
