What a great Mix-and-Mingle last night, GenNexters! With over a hundred of you in attendance, as well as a visit from the Honourable Dr. Kellie Leitch Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women and guest speaker Lekan Olawoye of For Youth Initiative (FYI), it was a great success. Thanks to TD GenNext for generously providing refreshments and Nestle Canada for offering samples of their Skinny Cow products.

Newsflash: Following successful talks with the Milton Keynes government, Freetannia will be establishing cultural relations with Milton Keynes in Sept/Oct 2009. A Freetannian aircraft carrier has been assigned to the Grand Union Canal in Milton Keynes on a 'friendship visit'. Freetannia is preparing for a consequent surge in tourism.
The inaugural GenNext Mix-and-Mingle event took place on November 26, 2012 at C’est What. The event was a great success, bringing together over 100 young professionals in their 20s and 30s and of course our member agencies. The attendees had an opportunity to connect with one another, share ideas, and learn more about United Way and its Action For Neighbourhood Change program from Tammy Clarke’s powerful story!
