She was cold. And we were heading out into the woods ..so I said, " Put on whatever over your outfit and then you can remove those items right before the shoot. " So , she put on this. And then I saw what needed to be photographed.

The Hydrangeas did very well this year, although in general the heads are smaller probably due to the hot summer.
Now some have been dried and form a lovely dash of colour in the room.
Hydrangea, the name, comes from the Greek words "hydro" or water, and "angeion," or vase = water vase, they prefer a lot of water.
A very ancient plant, found in fossils going back thousands of years.
Flower lovers will know that there is a flower language.
Every sentiment is expressed in one form or another by delicate blooms.
Of course, even the experts disagree on the "true meaning" of many flowers and most have different meanings to different people.
So, while all flowers convey thoughtfulness and love, a gift of flowers for a special someone will always create its own personal meaning, too.

I went to a small art exhibition called Floribunda recently. It had a number of paintings, floral dresses and a row of flowers entombed in clear resin. Included was this interesting NO painting which I didn't take the details of but was rather beautiful.
For the Mosaic Montage Monday theme of pattern mixing. Included is an overlay texture of dots and dashes. A pattern imposed by man.

Flickr Friday: Mix
Despite the colours of his fur, Pixie is part Siamese, part Birman, and... unknown parts. He does have the character of a Siamese cat, though. He is also part cute little angel, part Tasmanian devil.
Another mix and match ensemble, which I hope you will enjoy!
I wore this particular outfit whilst being put on display for our guests, during a small 'at home' party last night. We were entertaining Lord Belcher and Lord Trent, who are both staying at Lyndon Towers for the weekend. We aristocratic ladies do know how to make the most of our capsule wardrobes! Here, I am wearing a new silk scarf (a recent gift from hubby!) as a dress... My stockings are by Bear Brand, and my hair is by Annabelle. My jewels are from the Lyndon family collection.
Poor hubby was very embarrassed during our lingerie shopping trip yesterday! My husband was choosing intimate apparel for me to wear for the enjoyment of other men - including Lord Belcher, Lord Trent, the Duke of East Anglia, and my regular companions Sir Harry Rakefield and Sir Henry Cobham! However, I am not completely without mercy. I did allow hubby a little treat when we returned to Lyndon Towers. I wonder if you can guess what it was?

My neighbor thinks I'm nuts.
I had just taken this photo, when my neighbor pokes his head in my garage. Apparently, a 120Hz tone blasted out of a subwoofer at 9 p.m. at night sounds a little like a transformer that's about ready to explode. Who knew?
And then there was some comment about squirrels...
Anyway.

Südlich von Hof gestaltet sich der ÖPNV noch recht bunt, nicht nur von den Baureihen her, sondern auch von den Farben der Züge.
Gelb/orange wird es immer zwischen Hof, Cheb und Marktredwitz.
Hier ist 1648 211/711 als OPB 20881 auf der OPB-Linie 2 bei der Einfahrt Oberkotzau in Richtung Rehau/Cheb zu sehen.
