Un couloir éteint, juste la lumière de la pièce du fond allumée, laissant deviner une silhouette apparaissant dans un lieu délabré. Merci à mon assistant Julien qui a servi de cobaye pour cette photo !

I started this thinking I was using watercolor pencils, bu found out when I put on the water that they were just ordinary color pencils.
But sometimes
I still think of you
And I just wanted to
Just wanted you to know
My old friend...
I swear I never meant for this
I never meant...
Don't look at me that way
It was an honest mistake
“I get enraged with football but if I’ve got a basketball and I’m dribbling I find myself feeling calmer. I’m a volunteer peer advisor for a charity. I work with people coming out of the prison system. Helping them find jobs, homes and the right support. I was in the same situation these people were in a few years ago. I made mistakes. Everything hit me at the same time. My two mates died, and my longstanding girlfriend left me. I turned to alcohol. I was dependent for about a year. But I’ve managed to overcome all that.
Three years ago I started getting my life back on track. For those that engage with me, I’ll give them all the help I can. It’s the only way I’ve found to get through my own struggles. I just wanted to give back what was provided for me. I’m a lot happier person than I used to be. I can’t help everyone. Not everyone is ready. I can open the door, they’ve got to walk through it. But I honestly believe that anyone can change their life.”

When I wrote the screen about the number of senses in my neuroscience exhibition I was running out of time, stressed out of my mind and had not slept much. Which explains why I wrote that the five tastes are sour, salt, bitter, bitter and umami (the second bitter, "besk" is a synonym in Swedish). Nobody noticed the mistake until the premiere. Since then the exhibition has toured Sweden for two years and nobody has remarked on this obvious mistake. Until now in Uppsala when finally a friend of exactness has crossed out the bitter and added the correct sweet.

"The mistake the world is making with simple peoples is to try to hurry them into political concepts they don’t understand and aren’t prepared to cope with. I know, for I am a peasant myself." - President Ramon Magsaysay

The big beekeeping mistake I've so far never managed to make - but there's always a first time.... I'd left it 4 weeks since the last inspection (bad). I opened up this hive (one of my most productive) and to my astonishment found all 12 brood frames completely empty - all the cells polished up - no brood, no honey, no pollen but thousands of bees. I couldn't imagine what had happened - had they swarmed and then the new queen perished on her mating flight? Then I looked at the supers I'd just taken off - big oops! I must have trapped the queen above the queen excluder - the 2 supers were full of brood, honey and pollen and presumably the queen. It took me a good half hour to find her and make sure she was below the QX before I closed up the hive. So the poor workers of course couldn't understand why the queen was laying upstairs and had prepared everything perfectly for her to lay in the brood chamber as normal - they can just walk through the QX and the queen can't ... I'll wait 3 weeks now for all this brood to emerge and then the supers will become the honey store again.
BTW you can tell this isn't layer worker laid brood (unffertilised) because there are no domed drone brood caps to the cells like the ones I found in this picture The caps are flat so it must be fertilised and therefore female worker-bee brood which only the queen can lay.

One of my favorite shot ever is an early shot I did with rubber bands stretched across a frame and hit by a pellet.
I go back to it with almost every new launcher I build.
This was a strange shot. My timing with the steel bearings has been very good, almost zero problems. I was noticing, though, that loading the marble was getting rough. So I sprayed some oil down the barrel and ran the bearing up and down the barrel a few times.
This was the first shot after that action. The timing was way late. I thought maybe the lubrication had changed the speed drastically, but the next shot was as expected.
One time fluke.
Cheers.
