Zaira, Rora, and Skylar go search for their perfect pumpkins to start out the month. Turning over each one they searched until each girl had their favourite pick. It's going to be a spoopy month at Hogwarts this year!

With two months- less than that now actually, left at Hogwarts for her last time, Aurora found herself wandering the halls as if cataloging everything one more time. Finally she found herself sitting on the bridge she'd often found herself at since the trolls had been stationed at the gate. "Bloody stupid trolls." She grumbled as she picked up a splintered off piece of the bridge and chunked it in their general direction and watched as it sailed into the water below. Sighing, green eyes lifted as she heard a familiar trill and gave a faint smile as her owl Athena landed on her knee and stared at her as if trying to make sure the blonde was ok. "I'm fine, I'm fine 'Thena. Just feelin' a wee bit nostalgic."
"Persephone Vitrac I don' think you know 'ow to disappoint," Fletch said, grinning at her. Her expression softened for a moment and she snorted, shaking her head. "I just wanted today to be special..." She took his face in her hands, leaning forward to kiss him. "Happy birthday, Adam." She whispered, lips brushing against his.

Sometimes, one needs to go back to old practices in order to have the strength to move forward. That was how Persephone felt after they'd suffered that loss. She needed to get all the feeling out somehow and extra practice sessions weren't cutting it. And so, she went back to dance.

She'd failed him - those words echoed in her head as she hid at the top of the clocktower. She was a Prefect, she should have been able to do something! Her little brother could've been killed and Aurora hadn't been there to stop him. Or the others. Their mother's disappointed and angry words still echoed in her head as she buried her face in her knees. How would she be able to face Cressida Blackwood after she saw what happened to her baby boy?

Another one. She knew the girls had to be tired of hearing Aurora's moans, of hearing Athena trill and flap her wings in her cage as her mistress tossed and turned locked in the nightmare that was on repeat almost anytime she closed her eyes. At least tonight she hadn't screamed. Aleah had woken her up that night and nearly got hit for it as her twin woke in a panic. Tonight though was just the sounds that woke her in a cold sweat as she massaged at the silver scars peeking over her shoulder. "Bloody hell, is this ever going to end?" She whispered as she sat up, rubbed her temples, and tried to get the image of that werewolf out her mind.

Silver glinted in the morning sunlight as Aurora turned this way and that, looking at the reminder of how her life had changed in the blink of an eye.
"Kintsukuroi. The Japanese rather than throw something broken away, fill the cracks with gold or silver, to show the beauty in the imperfections."
She'd been informed of what her scars reminded Noma of, and part of her saw it. But the part that she wouldn't show that was scared... that still had the weight of what could happen hanging over her, that part couldn't see it yet as a tear slid down her cheek. Would she have changed running next door to the kids aid had she known the outcome? No... no she wouldn't.

As the snow begins to stay on the ground, Snowmen and snowball fights are in order..

It's taken me three attempted to finish editing this without my photoshop crashing. In that time I've forgotten what caption I was going to put here. There really were too many things said to boil this down to one line or rp post. Except maybe...
“When all of this is over, we need a holiday,” he said. “We can go to see the Northern Lights. The town is dismal, and you have to wait weeks to see anything, but they are… of the gods. We can take Astrid. And Jamie. And… the twins,” he added with a feeble grin towards Dominik. “And some other foreign beauty for Laufreyn, because Dominik will not share. We can walk around the muggle town and avoid eye contact with everyone, as is the Norwegian, and proper, way. Maybe for Yule, eh?”
He walked over towards Dagmar in three big strides, wrapping his arms around her from behind. “What do you say, liten en? Do you want to see me in a fluffy hat?”
Dagmar blinked a few times, unsure she'd heard what she thought she had, though as Lars's arms wrapped around her she sighed softly, leaning back against him. "Ja, da. You owe us all a holiday, we never had the one over Summer." Dagmar had been deprived of Lars in swimtrunks and sandals, but Lars in a fluffy hat might make up for it.
"Ja. This is good.”, Magnus said plainly in a low voice as he nodded in agreement, feeling something shift within him, though he remained as he was outwarldy, not turning from the window.
It seemed a very good omen to the Swede, somehow… Lars suggesting they witness together the magic of lights that appeared only at the darkest - and usually bleakest - times. Suddenly his mind returned to conversations they’d had about traveling after school together. He’d traveled himself post-graduation, but not with Zelda, Seb and the others as they had once discussed. He supposed he knew who he should bring to Norge if the trip occurred, but it seemed a long way off. And everything was uncertain.
Still… his comrades would always be his comrades. And they should go to Norge.
They could see the lights in the sky over another town...

And Dagmar could experience Lars in a fluffy hat.

It's made what would normally be a fun weekend trip away from school dangerous - especially for us who haven't learned or mastered our patronus charms. We do what we can though, and if one swoops down on us, we try to help each other and do our best to get out the way!
