Whilst in the park on Sunday, we saw lots of newly-born, baby baboons... Clinging close to their mums...
The yacht 'Mischief' sailing up the River Waveney on what was probably the last day of summer 2020...in this part of the world anyway!

A few years ago, I raised these Raccoons after their mom died. They were as playful as they look too. It was hard not to play with them too much for fear that they wouldn't be able to make it in the wild. They would sleep and play in this tree. 8-)

Some Hogwarts corridor scenes in the Harry Potter films are shot here. Along the far left wall the writing in blood appears declaring the chamber of secrets has been opened, while down towards the right Harry and Ron hide from the troll. Around the corner is a door filmed as the entrance to Gryffindor common room.

Today marked the last day of the school year at Mischief Managed. I can’t even begin to explain how much of a blessing this place has been the past month. I joined MM with a year left in the school year but I still had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people. I have dreamed of joining MM for years now but my interest was restored a few months ago when coming across some of Saffron’s photos. However, it wasn’t until May when I felt down in the dumps over RP in SL did I decide to take control of my situation and apply to MM. I chose to use Iveron, my male avatar, for this RP as he has never had a RP of all his own. It’s always been Georgia. Here I have been allowed to truly create an independent person for Iveron and grow into fully enjoying playing a male avatar. Of course all of my avatars represent me, but Iveron is a more direct representation of me in not just the physical form. Through him I am now able to explore being an openly gay male and putting myself into social situations that I may not in RL. It is a truly liberating experience and I have MM to thank for putting me out there. Well, where do we go from here? Luckily MM is setting up Diagon Alley for some RP fun and many of us have summer plans set up with our friends from school. I have not felt so much love for a group of people and felt it reciprocated since the last big RP change in my life with 1920s Berlin in 2014 Berlin is now going on 4 years for me so who knows where MM will take me. Once again, thank you MM from the bottom of my heart for giving me an environment to express myself in as well as delivering so many amazing people into my life. Until next term!

Welcome to Mischief Managed SL!
Thank you for taking the time to drop over to our sim and check things out during this 1 week of OOC Preview. This OOC Preview is from 6th July (Friday) 9PM SLT to 13th July (Friday) 9PM SLT. During this week of Public Preview, there will be no role play and everyone can simply walk around and explore the current exterior of the castle. Please note that although we're open for preview, there are still various areas unbuilt and unready to fit our storyline. If you're interested in looking at the sim unfold, please do apply as a member. After the OOC preview, some areas will be available to public, but majority will be closed to members only.
You will be entering through our landing point over at Platform 9 3/4, find your way through like an actual wizard and then take the train to Hogwarts castle.

Whilst PC Roberts is using his phone box, Mecha Godzilla makes off with his uniform.
PC Roberts has never been able to adequately explain why he was nude inside his call box in the first place...
For the past few days, whenever I stepped outside to go feed the birds, I've heard a slight scurrying sound in one of the garden areas at the entrance of my patio. But wasn't able to see the culprit.
Having seen snakes about, and even a few tiny anoles, I was worried about one, and hopeful about the other. Today, I heard the scurrying again when going out to feed the birds. However, this time I spotted what was making the noise. At first I panicked until I saw those tiny little legs! Whew! A little SKINK!
It didn't move, so either it was frozen with fear, or had finally decided I wasn't too much of a threat. I raced for the camera, and it was still there. I grabbed some shots at a distance, but only a few because I didn't want to bother it too much.

Meet Fritz. He's a Highlander which is an experimental crossbreed between a Desert Lynx and a Jungle Curl. It was a little mean of me to introduce him when he's covered in lime sulfur because he's a darling kitten with a sweet, outgoing personality. However...
He was adopted a couple weeks ago by a wonderful family with two kids and four cats. First the daughter, then the son and then one of the young Bengal cats got ringworm. Nothing in their separate lives or environments had changed - except the addition of Fritz joining the family.
The Occam's razor explanation for both human and feline members of the family getting ringworm is that this little cutie is a carrier and has passed it along to some of his snuggle buddies. The two kids are now being treated with topical anti-fungal creams, the Bengal, who has ringworm on his ear, is on oral anti-fungal medication and all five cats had to have a dip in lime sulfur.

The black-backed jackal is a very ancient species and has changed little since the Pleistocene, being the most basal wolf-like canine, alongside the closely related side-striped jackal. It is a fox-like animal with a reddish-brown to tan coat and a black saddle that extends from the shoulders to the base of the tail. It is a monogamous animal, whose young may remain with the family to help raise new generations of pups.

Leaving friends behind is never easy, especially when you've grown as close as Rora and Bree had since Easter holiday. But a final night of mischief - a sleepover in one of Hogwart's hidden rooms? Yeah, that was a definite balm on the melancholy surrounding the girls as they talked about summer plans and their futures until the wee hours of the morning when both fell asleep on their respective pillow piles.

MissChief started the 2018 as the worst model, cut not sit still, didn´t like the sound the camera makes, and I thought that I would get 52 action photos with at toy, but no no, MissChief is now at top model dog, sit, stays, look right and she loves it.
Thank to all the other 52 weeks dogs models for this year.
