Este gorgojo de unos 2,5 centímetros es uno de los escarabajos más raros que existen, vive exclusivamente en Madagascar. Su nombre Trachelophorus giraffa, hace alusión al largo cuello articulado de los machos de esta especie, que es tres veces mayor al de las hembras. Si te recuerda a una grúa, has pensado bien: se sirve de su largo cuello para construir el nido y también para luchar con sus competidores a la hora de encontrar pareja. Parece que aquí el tamaño sí que importa.

Esta pequeña cámara me la regaló hace ya bastantes años mi madre, y era su cámara allá por finales de los 60…. Y tenia muchas ganas de volverla a poner a trabajar, ya que se ve que funciona perfectamente el obturador, el medidor, el arrastre y contador.. todo. Sin embargo no estaba exenta de retos, ya que no disponía de pelicula, ni Casette. Pero hace bien poco accedí a un Casette hecho por impresora 3D para este tipo de cámara y con película de 35mm cortada con la medida de 16mm ha vuelto a hacer fotografías.
My mother gave me this little camera several years ago, and it was her camera back in the late 60s.... And I really wanted to put it back to work, since you can see that the shutter, the meter, the drag and counter work perfectly... everything. However, it was not without challenges, since it did not have a movie, nor Cassette. But very recently I accessed a Cassette made by 3D printer for this type of camera and with 35mm film cut with the measure of 16mm has taken photographs again.
