For Macro Mondays - Misfit
Seems like Minnie has found herself on the set of the wrong Oooshi movie.
Ooshis are figurines that fit on the end of pencils, we have quite a collection after one of our supermarket chains were giving them out as part of a promotion a couple of years ago. Each Oooshi measures 1 1/2 inches high and 3/4 inch wide.
Happy Macro Monday!
When my oldest daughter was a year old, my mom bought these two feet tall Minnie and Mickey motorized dolls to go in front of her fireplace at Christmas. My daughter was fascinated by them as they moved back and forth and used to clap her hands and jump up and down while she watched them.
A few years later when we moved away from my parents' home, my mom gave me Mickey and Minnie to display in my home for the kids. Now my youngest gets to get excited about them every year- and they are a conversation piece as well for all my Christmastime guests- I mean, who can resist Mickey and Minnie all gussied up for the holidays?
“There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place where colors are brighter,
the air softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again.”
MICKEY:
I love you Minnie
MINNIE: (blushes)
Oh...Mickey...how romantic you are

Welcome to the UK Plc, a Mickey Mouse operation with a 'caretaker' leader, already found to be unfit for public office by his own political party, attempting to remain in charge of the nuclear launch codes until Autumn! His "resignation", in which he did not actually resign, clearly blamed everyone else - the 'Westminster Herd' and he takes no responsibility for the constant lies, scandals and destruction of our very democracy. The honour-based system has to go because it just takes one dishonourable leader to bring the country to it's knees and ruin our global reputation. We are a laughing stock around the world. I don't much care which party or leader is in charge for the time being but we MUST have someone with honesty and integrity at the lead, one who can positively influence those around them rather than corrupt them. Our Mickey Mouse operation must be fixed.

"From 'The Last of the Earth' series, this image reveals the person behind the Minnie Mouse costume: a Romanian man facing hardship in a large city. He earns a meager living to support his wife and children back in Romania. Despite the difficulties of his life and the precariousness of his situation, he brings joy to the children he encounters, reminding him of his own far-away family. This is a story of sacrifice, resilience, and the hidden humanity behind the masks we see every day
With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️

Just playing around with Todd's toys. I tend to do that when he leaves for tour and I have nothing better to do. This was taken in November along with the Minnie Mouse photo below in the comments.
