My local mall had a Mini Cooper on display as part of a holiday contest. I didn't have my real camera equipment with me, but I think these cell pics turned out pretty darn good!

The latest Matchbox Mini series I believe is supposed to be a US exclusive though it has also turned up in some Far Eastern countries. Its one of those many sets which never turn up in the UK despite such an assortment being an obvious hit with collectors here and in the spiritual home of this iconic nameplate!
Really impressive card artwork will probably tempt many collectors to buy them despite containing many recycled recolours.
We first saw this metallic Burnt Orange 2011 MINI Cooper Countryman back in 2021 for that years Case C assortment and it still looks clean but vibrant in 2024. Its not meant to be any kind of premium and so the usual levels of detailing apply here as well as its cost saving one piece plastic upper body.

It looks as though Matchbox have taken their inspiration from Maisto when it comes to saving costs on manufacturing! The one piece plastic upper half is becoming increasingly common in both line ups, sometimes its well disguised with the use of silver flashes and an interior and others it just looks clunky and cheapo! I think you can guess which category this MINI Cooper Countryman fits into.....;-p
