I was inspired by Shimelle Laine's travel journal in Ali's Tuesday Tutorials, especially "day tab"

I did not make these day tabs ahead like Shimelle did, but I added a little collage day tab in this my travel journal.
A small mini album I made as a door prize for a ladies banquet at my church. Sorry picture is not very good.

I finally decided to make a front cover for this project that i posted a while ago. Especially since I found some 1.25" o-wires for my Bind-it-All! Chipboard cover, all letters and numbers (3 was originally an 8 and cut it down) are AC, label is a free download from giverslog.com. Go to the right and scroll down until you get to free printables. Then search for the labels. Stay awhile, because it's a great blog.
This is a peek to my next mini album class using the Holly Jolly line by My Mind's Eye in November. Stop over to my blog for more information. We are working with lots of different textures and techniques, including felt, canvas, chipboard, acrylic, pockets, misting over Glimmer Screens, painting, stamping, etc. www.danielleflanders.blogspot.com.
Made this mini album with the Jenni Bowlin May kit - main. Also used the Blue Ribbon Embellishments and the Studio Calico alphas from the Farmer's Market add-on. I wanted to do a little inspirational book, you could add photos or just journal about your experiences and what you've learned along this path of life. :)
mini book made with chipboard cut to various different shapes and sizes.
Simply scribbled some random shapes on a piece of 12x12 cardstock (used to ship my goodies to me) and cut them out with scissors.
Patterned paper is from scenic route Laurel.
Finally I finished my summer mini album. The album and Ali's stamp are from Cocoa Daisy July add-on Kit. Love them! I also used Tim's metal hitch fasteners and dye inked hinge shaped grungeboad for book closure.
