These two have been in the works for 2 years! Finished last week for our two youngest Grandsons. So now I have one more to make for our youngest Granddaughter and then I will take a break from the sewing. My camera has been calling me and I have been missing it as well!
My LEGO depiction of what is probably the most famous minecraft map out there. A lot of the focus lie in making sure that the entire build is made out of "perfect" cubes, not just in the height of the base, for example, but also in the outward facing texture.
Here's another cake with those pixels/squares;). What is in the water these days with Minecraft? Everyone seems to be playing that game!
Twin sized bed quilt for my 13 year old son based on his favourite computer game: Minecraft! Made from Kona cotton solids. Ikea sheet for backing. Completed September 2011.
My son had the idea to stitch three buttons, red, yellow and green, on the upper left corner of the grey binding (which he asked me to make wider at the top) to resemble a window on his Mac computer. I will do that soon! And label the quilt, too.

This is the Creeper pinata I made (from the game Minecraft) . He's about 4 feet tall. We went and took "senior photos" of him.

Very well done in my opinion I especially like the Wolf
Minecraft's Cliffs & Caves update may be a while away, but that hasn't stopped me from creating a playset-style MOC depicting some of the new underground biomes.
This model features modular constructions of the Lush Caves, Deepdark and Underground Geodes, as well as a modular rail system for good measure.
Trying to get the colour scheme for the Geode and Deepdark was particularly hard, there isn't really a similar colour in LEGO. I'm quite proud of the custom detailing on the Warden and Deepdark tiling though.

Minecraft Hunger Games, Minecraft is a game about breaking and placing blocks. At first, people built structures to protect against nocturnal monsters, but as the game grew players worked together to create wonderful, imaginative things. It can also be about adventuring with friends or watching the sun rise over a blocky ocean. It’s pretty. Brave players battle terrible things in The Nether, which is more scary than pretty. You can also visit a land of mushrooms if it sounds more like your cup of tea. April 21, 2016 at 09:20PM in youtu.be/E2WdmUhRtic
Around March of last year, I had decided to make a LEGO layout showcasing the different Minecraft sets that I've gotten. I've also added a few custom designs into the layout as well.
This also kind of serves as a memory for the now closed Kmart in Olean as I wound up buying a bunch of the Minecraft sets during its liquidation sale.

Some more gel practice, this time with two flashes, one blue and one green. Effect is pretty fun, however that does leave me currently without a flash on the subject. Money money money...
Last Christmas, I gave my brother, who is an avid Minecraft fan, a Minecraft Trophy. It's a head. On a platform. And it's wobbly. He was happy.
I built this for Christmas 2010, but waited to put it up for the world to see. It just feels like a more personal gift that way. Big thanks to Dennis for the awesome photos.
Also, it's kind of sad that I can't add this to the CubeDudes group. Because, well, he is a dude. And a Cube.
