I always liked the Lego-mini-sets, but in my opinion, they are too expensive. So I build my own one. Its a Mountain Biome with an Enderman and a Ender Portal
Minecraft remake of the old Anhalter Bahnhof in Berlin, sadly demoslished by the soviets in after WW2.

Using a Nikon FM2n with Kodak Tri-X 400 and a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8. A joy to shoot with. Here a difficult shoot with a heavily overexposed bit to the left (sunlight) and underexposed part to the right. The built in light meter is a great helper.
So, another four shots of my Minecraft house.
Top left - Large arc waterfall, which links onto the river. Can be ridden with a boat, like a waterslide :)
Top right - My bedroom/workshop, which is inside the largest sphere. Water elevation system inside.
Bottom left - A view of the floating platform and the four main water elevators.
Bottom right - Underside of the floating platform, and a view of the natural environment area, which includes a river and two waterfalls. It will eventually cover the entire bottom floor.

Getting lost in the woods at night in Minecraft is fun, but the fun in that was running from hordes of skeletons. These guys are one of my favorite parts of Minecraft.
Finally finished. Minecraft quilt took a bit of work. Quilt police might not be happy, but my grandson is and that's all that matters.
Looks a bit odd as I had to hang it sideways on the line to get a photo.

These two have been in the works for 2 years! Finished last week for our two youngest Grandsons. So now I have one more to make for our youngest Granddaughter and then I will take a break from the sewing. My camera has been calling me and I have been missing it as well!
My LEGO depiction of what is probably the most famous minecraft map out there. A lot of the focus lie in making sure that the entire build is made out of "perfect" cubes, not just in the height of the base, for example, but also in the outward facing texture.
Here's another cake with those pixels/squares;). What is in the water these days with Minecraft? Everyone seems to be playing that game!
Twin sized bed quilt for my 13 year old son based on his favourite computer game: Minecraft! Made from Kona cotton solids. Ikea sheet for backing. Completed September 2011.
My son had the idea to stitch three buttons, red, yellow and green, on the upper left corner of the grey binding (which he asked me to make wider at the top) to resemble a window on his Mac computer. I will do that soon! And label the quilt, too.
