Dans la douce lumière de l'automne, emporté par les courants invisibles un homme impétueux vole entre les montagnes majestueuses et les nuages tumultueux tel un oiseau libre, à la recherche de l'inconnu.
I have been keeping this image in my folder for flickr upload for quite some time. I was contemplating with the photographic value of it as it requires less challenge to come up with the image like this.
But, on the other hand, to spot something like this is not an everyday thing. When it happens, it happens. On top of it, I in particular actually do like this image for the configuration of its branches and the silhouette of it with the cloud formations in the backdrop.
The first thing came across my mind when I saw this dead tree, I was thinking of mind-mapping as it is analogous to the way we would draw mind-map when we are working on projects. I don’t know whether you practice mind-mapping or not to streamline your ideas to make it clear on the flow of it and to break down into its details – but I do.
What do you see in this image?

Nothing too exciting or eventful to report on today; it was an average day around the office that passed by without much notice.
Although the chaos of last week has passed, I still managed to find myself quite tired by the time the day came to an end.
Happily though; the bees were buzzing and made for simple photography today; I even had the wrong lens with me while I was shooting and still managed a decent insect shot.
I'm much too used to working with my 40mm and have been trying to ween myself off of it. As amazing as that lens is, I do need to venture out and practice with some of my other gear... once in a while.
Anyway, hope everyone has had a good day.
Quiet the mind and the soul will speak! Just the place, simply couldn’t resist this one :)

Tuesday, 18 February 2020: our temperature this morning is -15C (windchill -21C). This is two or three degrees warmer than earlier this morning. Sunrise is at 7:43 am, and sunset is at 5:57 pm. It snowed a little overnight. My plan was to join friends for a morning birding walk, which would have been my first walk in this 12-week winter session, having missed all the others for one reason or another. However, when I saw a windchill of -24C, and overcast, I changed my mind about going out. The next five days are forecast to be above 0C, which will feel so good.
This photo was taken on 16th February 2020, when I went for a walk in a local park. I had only just started on a walk, when I got talking with a delightful lady by the parking lot - English, like me. She, too, had just got there and she asked if she could walk with me. What an enjoyable walk it was! I had really been hoping that I would be able to show her a Pileated Woodpecker that I had seen earlier in the week, but this time, there was no sign of it.
We were extremely lucky and thrilled when a man, walking his dog, asked if we were looking for something. When I told him about a different bird, he pointed to the top of a tall Spruce tree and there it was - a tiny Northern Pygmy-owl! Quite a long way away and barely visible. With a good amount of zoom, I was able to get a few shots, just for the record. We had been there just 10 minutes, when the owl flew. We decided not to go and look for it, just happy that we had the chance to see it briefly. My fellow walker had never seen one before, so this made my day as well as hers.
"The Northern Pygmy-Owl may be tiny, but it’s a ferocious hunter with a taste for songbirds. These owls are mostly dark brown and white, with long tails, smoothly rounded heads, and piercing yellow eyes. They hunt during the day by sitting quietly and surprising their prey. As a defensive measure, songbirds often gather to mob sitting owls until they fly away. Mobbing songbirds can help you find these unobtrusive owls, as can listening for their call, a high-pitched series of toots." From AllAboutBirds.
As of Feb 2020, the life of Dhawajhandi female (T27), one of Kanha Tiger Reserve's most frequently sighted tigress, remains one of the most engrossing and poignant tales of our times.
In 2019, T27 had given birth to 4 cubs, fathered by one of the the dominant and most popular male tigers of Kanha - Chota Munna (T29). Yet, inexplicably, at the end of the monsoon of 2019 and just after the park had opened, T29 just vanished, never to be seen after Oct 29. A tiger, never afraid of tourists or safari vehicles, just gone, leaving behind only a swirl of concern and conspiracy theories.
Tougher, then, gets the life of a tigress such as T27, having to raise her cubs in the heart of her lost mate’s territory, and having to do it all over again, as the story of her current litter plays out almost the same as her current one. It had been her shrewd mind and strong heart that had helped her get through the storm the last time around - as she mated (falsely) with other marauding males and pushed out her own daughter (DJ4) prematurely, so that one may at least live, even as the three two male cubs were lost.
Seen here is Dhawajhandi or T27 in a frame that is iconic of tigerland and the ceaseless story of survival of the prey and the predator - the deer and the tiger

More than a year ago, I had set my mind on creating a massive MOC that some of you may have actually seen in real life. 'The City of Andarstrœm' was on display at Bricking Bavaria 2022 but never made it to a greater audience as I was not satisfied with the outcome. It was rushed. It was too much. It just wasn't what I had in mind.
For the past few months, I spent every spare minute life has to offer to break the scene apart and reinterprete it all. The outcome are four individual glimpses at what could be a fictional Rivendell-inspired city.
Hope you enjoy and take some time to make up stories for these scenes! Feel free to get carried away in the comments!
I must thank Marcel for giving such a great companion in the process and seeing the little details I would always miss. Love also goes to Rolli for being so supportive, excited and inspiring. You guys are the best!
Another shot from a series taken on 5th July 1976 intended to capture Attenborough and Beeston stations.
The signalman is just opening the crossing gates after passage of light-engine class 47 (47199) seen disappearing into the distance. It's obviously a warm day (remember the '76 heat-wave?) seeing as he's got the large window slid open. Meantime the driver of the Morris 1800 isn't showing too much patience as he moves into the middle of the road to get through when just enough of a gap has opened.
In the distance a PW Gang can be seen resuming work on the facing crossover. This leads to the Ordnance Depot at Chilwell which was still seeing a reasonable amount of freight traffic at the time - usually hauled by class 25s where the wheelbase was short enough to cope with the tight curves leading in to the complex.
Attenborough station wasn't in the best state of repair in the 70s as can be seen by the foot crossing and "out of order" crudely scrawled on the side-gate. The footbridge wasn't in much better condition either. A few years earlier all local signalling had passed to Trent Power Box a couple of miles down the track and, despite the characterful Midland Railway box, the signalman's duties consisted of little more than operating the level crossing gates. Even these were to be replaced eventually by barrier gates, at which time the signal box was demolished.
There are still a few more to come which I'll put up in due course.

That's it
Would you mind?
Would you?
Baby, would you mind touching me
Ever so slowly
You're making me quiver
And baby, would you mind undressing me?
Making me feel sexy while in the moment
'Cause I'm gonna bathe you, play with you, rub you, caress you
Tell you how much I've missed you (Yeah)
I just wanna touch you, tease you, lick you, please you
Love you, hold you, make love to you
And I'm gonna kiss you, suck you, taste you, ride you
Feel you deep inside me, ooh
I just wanna kiss you, suck you, taste you, ride you
Feel you, make you cum too
I wanna make you cum
Baby, would you mind kissing me
All over my body
You missed a spot, there
Baby, would you mind tasting me?
It's making me all juicy
Feeling your lips on mine
'Cause I'm gonna bathe you, play with you, rub you, caress you
Tell you how much I've missed you
I just wanna touch you, tease you, lick you, please you
Love you, hold you, make love to you
And I'm gonna kiss you, suck you, taste you, ride you
Feel you deep inside me, ooh
I just wanna kiss you, suck you, taste you, ride you
Feel you, make you cum too
Are you ready?
Baby, would you mind
Cum inside of me
Letting your juices free
Deep in my passion
Is it good to you, baby?
'Cause I'm gonna bathe you, play with you, rub you, caress you
Tell you how much I've missed you (I missed you)
I just wanna touch you, tease you, lick you, please you
Love you, hold you, make love to you
And I'm gonna kiss you, suck you, taste you, ride you
Feel you deep inside me, ooh
I just wanna kiss you, suck you, taste you, ride you
Feel you, make you cum too
Oh baby
Would you mind?
Yeah
I just wanna touch you, tease you, lick you, please you
Love you, hold you, make love to you
And I'm gonna kiss you, suck you, taste you, ride you
Feel you deep inside me, ooh
I just wanna kiss you, suck you, taste you, ride you
Feel you, make you cum too
Oh yeah, baby
Just like that
Ooh, yeah
Oh
Don't move
Ooh
Go deeper
Oh, oh
Oh yeah, oh yeah
Oh yeah, oh, oh, oh, baby
Shit, oh, oh
Yes, oh, ooh, oh
The song ended
What the? I didn't even get to cum
Did you?
