ইটের শহরে নাগরিক যন্ত্রণার চোরাবালি জোড়াতালি দিতে দিতে আমি হাঁপিয়ে ওঠি । পালিয়ে যাওয়ার জায়গা খুজি পাহাড় কিংবা সমুদ্রে। নাগরিক জীবনের নাভিশ্বাস থেকে ছুটি নিয়ে ছুটে যাই সবুজ পাহাড়ে।
প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্য্যরে এক অপার সমাহার বান্দরবান। যেখানে প্রকৃতি নিজ ঐশ্বর্যকে ঢেলে দিতে কৃপণতা করেনি। পাহাড়ি এ জেলায় রয়েছে অসংখ্য হ্রদ, ঝরনা, নদী। এখানকার জীববৈচিত্র্য এবং তাদের ঐতিহ্যপূর্ণ বর্ণাঢ্য সংস্কৃতি যেকোন সংস্কৃতি মনা ও ভ্রমণপিয়াসু মানুষকে কাছে টানে সহজেই।
