We kicked of the start of this months exhibition at Holst & Holst Gallery last night.
Four artists shared their work. All of my images were previously unseen released exclusively at the gallery.
I wanted to share those images with you over the coming week.
The gallery is open till mid February, check it out.

This grand old home was originally built in 1887 by Paul Roulet, who was a French instructor at nearby Drury College. You can see his name on the sign in the front yard, along with that of the last buyer, Sally Plank. This midtown neighborhood is of particular interest to me, my husband and one grandson because we all lived here on the “40 acres” and attended what is now Drury University.
Midtown Manhattan is the central portion of the New York City borough of Manhattan and serves as the city's primary central business district. Midtown is home to some of the city's most prominent buildings, including the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project, the headquarters of the United Nations, Grand Central Terminal, and Rockefeller Center, as well as several prominent tourist destinations including Broadway, Times Square, and Koreatown. Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan is the busiest transportation hub in the Western Hemisphere.
Just loved the many variations and shades of light on these buildings in Manhattan, screamed black and white.

Revisiting the globe in Columbus circle to get a shot not shrouded in silhouette. Was hoping for some streaky clouds in the background with the long exposure, but with the way it was grey and overcast today in the city I'll settle for clear blue skies.

* I felt terrible for this raccoon. It didn't look well. A woman was just behind it and had called animal services to ensure help would be given.

walking north
to south
toward the wail
of harbor boats,
counting down--
14th Street, the lost boys
of Washington Park,
Little Italy’s intoxicating
aromas, Chinatown,
acrid garbage bins,
a drunk sprawled
across the sidewalk,
flock of pigeons pecking
about, Battery Park and
darkness beyond;
glaze of city lights
paint a rippling Monet
on the water and so,
I sit on my bench,
take crusts of bread,
half a bagel from my pocket
but no squirrels, no sea birds,
just a listless wind,
a couple fishermen casting
from the rocks, city aglow,
dreamlike, the night the best
of mid-summer, city sounds,
endless sky, me a king
of my realm, no matter
I cannot recall the words
of a song I hear in my head:
1950s, either Ol’ Blue Eyes
or maybe Tony Bennett
