My friend Craig Ebel phoned me at midnight to ask if there was any aurora, while I was talking to him I saw the meteor on the right and I was describing the hot visible pink/red base on the aurora. I said get outside and look north. I guess it is Ok to be within cell coverage some times, most of my favourite spots have no cell service
