RHS Hyde Hall - Sculpture
Over the years, there has been a lot of sculpture in the Garden. These exhibitions usually last for a month or two and sometimes the Trust actually buys one of the exhibits. They have also added an extra dimension to the Garden. It makes you take a little more time to see how they fit into the landscape some I believe become part of it, but alas they go. So I’m posting what I have liked the most.

J'ai déjà présenté ce microphone pour Macro Mondays en mars 2022 pour le thème "mesh".
Cette fois-ci, pour le thème "M", j'ai choisi de me rapprocher beaucoup plus avec les tubes allonges et une bonnette de 5 dioptrie.
I already presented this microphone for Macro Mondays in March 2022 for the "mesh" theme.
This time, for the "M" theme, I chose to get much closer with the extension tubes and a 5 diopter lens.

Audio Technica microphone in b/w
This mic was not used in the recording of the album, but it was just sitting on the mixing board. it caused a little consternation when we asked to move it in front of the red velvet curtain. Interlopers should never interrupt the recording process. I'm an asshole.
For Macro Mondays "Metal", a metal windscreen over an inexpensive mic just taken out of service. The background is a detail of a map of San Francisco, California circa 1949, south of Market for those of you who know the City.
This crystal microphone "Ronette B110" dates from the early fifties. It was made in Amsterdam and is still very much appreciated by musicians (of which I am not one), for example to transmit harmonica sounds. It is in very good condition and works perfectly, the sound is still convincing!

I was asked to sing at a wedding yesterday. After the ceremony, I was putting things away when one of the groomsmen and one of the bridesmaids stood in front of me. The groomsmen wore black tuxes while the bridesmaids wore red gowns. When they moved infront of the microphone getting ready for their photoshoot, I thought it made a nice background for the mike. I thought the shot came up pretty good and considered it a contender for Macro Mondays Theme - MESH
this is an edit of an older photo in my photo stream. i went to this club in springfield, va a couple of times to photograph the bands performing there. the last time i went otep was performing. there was no problem till the next to the last song of her set. anyway, we were kicked out of the club...there's a whole myspace blog about it.
this photo is one of many i took of a band called TON. they are from the danville, va area and i recently found out they are no longer together. they go through "periods" i hear, so perhaps they'll get back together.
