Finally digitized this creation. It has a few more fixes, namely a more clear interior, folding fins, better guns, and rear landing gear. The arms also move up and down at the shoulder area slightly but I forgot to animate that. There are instructions for this model here: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-47640/TheRealBeef1213/prowler

here is a animation of the new pods in action: imgur.com/8LIaAfc

in case you don't know, there is a full size castle right in the centre of Milano, built in the 15th century and now used as a museum.

You'll find the whole set here

Sometimes, when planning a large project, it's nice to have a small model to mess with, to see how things work before doing it on a large scale. This is a microscale of my Neotron diorama, complete with everything currently on the actual WIP.

Some good old-school space freighter action, GHL style. Not a whole lot to look at really. I'm considering this a prototype, with plans to improve shaping, detail, and change the color.

Ununillon Shipyards T-X1 Military Tanker: The Pasconis

Affiliation: Fiston Republic

Manufacturer: Ununillon Shipyards

Length/beam/draft: [scale???]

Armor/shield level: 4x 4ft thick ultra-light aluminum alloy plating and an average of 1ft thick armor plating on rest of vessel/Class 4

Sublight engines/lightspeed engines:

Sublight speed/lightspeed:

Range: 832 earth days

Crew: 561

Armament: 32x 5in laser cannons, 82x 1in laser cannons, and up to 12 spacecraft.

Watts of fuel: 8.7x1019 volts

The Pasconis T-X1 Military Tanker is the Fiston Republics current military refueling vessel. She is one of the largest of its kind and is the Fiston Republics sole military refueling vessel. Shortly before the Second Piracy War the Pasconis was contracted out secretly to Ununillon Shipyards with the hope that this small private shipwright would be able to build the Pasconis “under the radar”. But due to strict regulations with the Jixnor Democracy the Pasconis was revealed to Jixnor Democracy. However, the Jixnor Democracy didn’t want to make a political mess out of the situation and agreed to allow the Fiston Republic to build the vessel secret. The Pasconis took over eight years to build; financial battles within the Fiston Republic and the Second Piracy War prohibited the full amount of resources to be committed to such a project. Only well after the Second Piracy War was over, combined with the fear of a growing Trynin military, did the Fiston Republic finally finish the Pasconis in late 2070.

The Pasconis is armed just well enough to discourage pirates and repel spacecraft attack. She has no Hinton cannons or Burst cannons, she is only armed with just enough point defenses to provide a full firing arc and more than two dozen 5in anti-ship laser to repel small cruisers. She relies on a battle group of two Raret-Class Light-Cruiser’s and one Rittonin-Class Battlecruiser for protection from large vessels.

The Pasconis is equipped with a very small hanger bay to accommodate up to twelve spacecraft; this makes moving supplies and crew easier.

The Pasconis suffers from poor maneuverability and speed. But the Pasconis does not need to be fast and manuerveralbe – she just has to hold lots of fuel. The Pasconis isn’t the largest refueling vessel in the galaxy but she is the most modern and as a result holds the most fuel among the mobile tankers in this galaxy. Her battery banks are incased in 4ft of a protective aluminum alloy to protect herself and others from her dangerous concentration of selonic cells. She also has a Class 4 shield generator and 1ft thick armor plating to ensure her ability to survive an attack until help can arrive.

The Pasconis was kept secret to all but the highest governing officials within the Fiston Republic and the Jixnor Democracy. During the Second Piracy War pirates captured the Trynin Empire’s military refueling vessel, overloaded the selonic cell banks and took out seven Trynin vessel in the resulting explosion; every nation since has build or maintained their military refueling vessels in secret. Two years of the Agronomic War was information leaked to public about the Pasconis and her life. The Pasconis has spent most of her active career docked at a Fiston military R&D facility in wide orbit of Patri Proclur far away from the Agronomic War and out of sight from any other prying eyes. She refueled only a dozen or so ships during the Agronomic War until the [push toward Trynin] assault; the Pasconis was called to the frontline to refuel the flagship of the Concero Republic, the Rander-Class Battlecruiser. This was her only active military mission on record.

The communication array aboard the Pasconis is state of the art providing it with logistical means of tracking all the vessels in the Concero Republic fleet calculating how much fuel has been used and when vessels need to be refueled. She is also a very useful data point, providing a secure server to relay information between Concero Republic resources.

The design of the Pasconis has not yet been truly tested but the Fiston Republic plans on building five more; one for itself and it plans on selling the other four to the Jixnor Democracy, the U.E.C, and the Trynin Empire. Even though the design of the Pasconis has not been truly tested the design shows promise.

Spaceship of the Tramendent-Class Battleship

Affiliation: Concero Republic

Manufacturer: Jixnor Shipyard/Northdrop Grumman

Length/beam/draft: [scale???]

Armor/shield level: 2in thick coating of light reflective material, 1ft thick metal quartz/level 4

Sublight engines/lightspeed engines:

Sublight speed/lightspeed:

Range: 783 days

Crew: 1,237

Armament: 16x 28in plasma cannons in 14 turrets, 158x 1in laser cannons, 96 bombers and 60 spacecraft and an extra 100 in storage, 8x missiles tubes, 2x jammers/electro stunners.

The Tramendent-Class Battleship was the Concero republic direct response to the Trynin Empire’s Antonimor-Class Battleship. The first military ship created not featuring a single Hinton cannon. The Tramendent was the first commission ship to feature large plasma cannons (the E-F1 gunship[continue]). It also features 8 [size in inches] missile tubes, each tube featuring either, one [big missile name], or [number] lionhead missiles. Three Tramendent-Class Battleships were made, the Tramendent, the Fablen, and the Rander. The Tramendent was badly damaged when it was ambushed in 2080 (see notes), but was repaired and now serves as the Fistons flagship. The Fablen was destroyed when it was ambushed in 2080 (see notes). The Rander served as the Concero Republics flagship during the last two years of the Agronomic War, and currently serves as the Jixnor’s flagship.

Notes: see other documents containing plasma cannons and electronic warfare. The Tramendent and the Fablen were ambushed in 2080, taking them out of the Agronomic War. They were sent to [planet name] to pick up a new bomber division, but the Trynin’s had planned an ineffable ambush, destroying the Fablen and badly damaging the Tramendent.

Microscale tablescraps. As you can see, I mostly have only minifig utensils available at the moment.

Random cityscape for a build I did last year. Didn't upload until now, but why not.

I'll upload this.

Sometimes, a navy wants a rugged, old-fashioned capital ship which dish out punishment and take even more. The newer navies and militaries consider this view quite out of date, and the FG-10 is a successful product of this modern warfare.

SyncTech, a Sweedish-Korean company, produced the vessel for their respective navies, but it has been produced under licence for several other states, and the idea copied by even more.

A true stand-off weapon, the ship is minimally armed for conventional ship-to-ship (STS) and anti-fighter warfare. It's main potency comes from the four cruise missile launchers, able to fire in serial or in sequence, at other ships, at space platforms or planets. Although slow enough to be destroyed by specialised point defence cannons, the FG-10 is able to destroy much without having to get into cannon range at all.

At close-range, the Frigate is no match for a ship as small as the BB-22, but with proper escort and intelligent use, it can be used as an anti-capital ship threat, as well as to destroy space platforms and assault entire planets.

Length: 220m

Crew: 74.

Armament: 4 x fast tracking ion turrets, 2 x Quad STS flak cannon.

2 x dual Sorsvig-class Cruise Missile batteries. Limited ammunition.

Computer: Siemens Y2-modular.

After painting is completed on the cars. I'll use decals to decorate them into the correct paint scheme.

Architect: Frank Lloyd Wright

Completed September 1909

Public premier at BrickCon, September 2011

I had a blast building these ships with my little bros. It was hard because we've never really had the experience of building at micro scale, but it was fun! I think however, that some of the ships are cooler in our head than they are in real life haha

to go with the twisted version that you can find earlier in my photo stream

Remember my Micro Tank? Here is its latest incarnation, with fuel tanks.

This is a piece from an exhibition I participated in. Built by 5 AFOLs over a couple of days.

This is the best place to live for a peaceful, quiet person. There's a big hook, what lift up the new people to the city. The city has an own reservoir, and a few house. They, who built the city, made a channel system under the houses, and there's go out the sewage.

Microscale goodness, docked in a regular, civilian hangar, built to add a little spice to the normal 'landed ship' picture.

Trains built for my microscale train station (www.flickr.com/photos/rt_bricks/8546182660/in/set-7215763...). Each engine/car is detachable. They actually slide in the rails of the microscale tracks, but of course, do not go around corners at all well.

This is a hastily-put together entry for the Forced Perspective category of the 2012 AMBC. It's really a WIP; if I have time I may improve it.

This is a mini LEGO terrace house built for some dear friends of ours as a housewarming present. Back garden comes complete with shed, dog, decking and slide!

Oscar Dyson is a NOAA Fisheries vessel. I made this in LDD and will build it with tangible bricks sometime soon

All of the Houston buildings I have planned so far.

Imagine an ancient fortification taken over and expanded by a dark power.

A study in angles, snot and windowmaking, but really I wanted to build a big fat castle!

When the war came to the Antarion IV, the factories became a significant target for heavy bombers of the enemy faction. As a result, each factory was upgraded to defend itself and ultimately the factories on Antarion IV became as heavily armed as the war machines they produced.

This microscale vignette was created for the Eurobricks Micro Sci-Fi contest.

Arresting gear extends inward from the engines.

Build by 2nd grader Josh at Saturday Lego lessons

Just a bit of fun. I had enough bricks in the right colours to create a blacktron version of the Gunstar. I'm not sure what's with LDD running on windows 8 when I take a screenshot in view mode (with the starfield backdrop) the backdrop isn't saved!

Removed some scenery and the bridge to get better access to photograph this.

This is a custom imperial base I built in micro-scale (roughly in scale with the 75329 Trench Run). The microfigs are technically a bit to big for the actual scale of the base, but it's pretty close.

It features a front gate with an elevated landing platform and a back gate that leads to the surrounding wilderness. The landing platform can accommodate most small to medium-sized imperial ships, up to and including a Gozanti-class cruiser.

The interior if the base is sized to fit the standard set of Imperial vehicles, including AT-ATs and TIE fighters, and includes boarding gantries for both.

The design of the base came from a number of different sources

- The landing platform was originally inspired by the Endor platforms from ROTJ, but takes most of its design from the cliffside base in The Mandalorian S2E2 "The Siege" and the Imperial Base on Zeffo from Jedi: Fallen Order.

- The command center pulls from those two locations as well, plus general imperial starship bridges, especially the Class 546 Arquitens.

- Most of the interior is based on Imperial Starship hangars, especially the ISD hangar from Squadrons. Getting the angled design of the floor to work was quite interesting.
