Chalcopyrite CuFeS2 is a very abundant copper mineral. It often forms very colorful tarnishing (rainbow-like) coating - typical tarnishing colors are orange, blue and violet.
This is not the case, though. What you can see in the picture are tiny chalcopyrite crystals on limestone. Chalcopyrite forms tetragonal crystals - in perfect conditions chalcopyrite would possibly make crystals consisting of 4 equal triangle shaped sides forming a 3 sided pyramid.

These were made with 2mm round beads (matte gray hematite on the left, and quartz on the right), and size 18/0 and 20-22/0 vintage micro seed beads (the gold ones on the left are plated with real gold).
They are about the size of a large pea.
