I always loved Lego Architecture sets and I always wanted to build this amazing fictional location in micro version. It is based on the look of the castle in the last two movies.

Scraping the barrel a bit now with last years early macro shots. I thought this one was quite a pretty subject though. They often look a bit drab (and micro moths are challenging to get a good angle on) but shine a bit of light on them and you begin to see their lovely colours and patterning.

In the last weeks, I suffered from a broken toe. Therefore I only went for short walks and tried to discover as much as possible the microworld around me.

This VV is rather conventional in shape, though less so in building technique. It's all held together along one bar in the center, and the cockpit is held in only by friction.
I'm a big fan of the new holy round 1x1 plates. :)
