I always loved Lego Architecture sets and I always wanted to build this amazing fictional location in micro version. It is based on the look of the castle in the last two movies.

This is my third iteration in many years. Finally, I was able to build this in real. The first two versions (very old and digital-only) can be found on Lego Ideas:

Shanghai! We stayed with my dad, walked all over the city, met up with my friend Jeff, and saw the Shanghai Botanical Garden, where my dad works.

My first micro-scale Blacktron ship. I plan on making a full minifig scale (Or minifig illusion scale) someday. This one is pretty much 1/6th scale.

the old trail to Boval used to run atop the moraine but it is too narrow now and a mini valley formed between the mountain side and the moraine is where hikers make their way and where nature reclaims its rights with a variety of flowers and vegetation that make this spot feel very special. Engadin, canton of Graubunden, Switzerland.

I'd decided I wanted to keep one around, for swooshing, but I couldn't spare the parts or shelf-space to keep the minifig-scale original built.

Miniaturizing Classic Space is not a new idea, of course.

up upon yonder flee to the heavens!

This was fun to make. Deciding what you can compromise on to fit the scale is half the challenge.

Now I just need a building concept that I can use them with...

Seven platforms in total, and with the antenna array up top, ends up being around 75-80 bricks high. But it's skinny so it shouldn't block out nearby modules too badly. I guess we'll see when we all arrive at BrickCon.

Pequeños detalles de la naturaleza que pasan normalmente desapercibidos

Built by a student in one of my microscale classes. This is the kind of photo quality I'm able to get with my simple studio and a point-and-shoot camera.

Nada como o sol, mar e um sirizinho amigo para descontrair num findi de semana. Foi uma delicia essas micro ferias.

These women all lost their husbands due to the violence of Muslim radicals in northern Nigeria. In efforts to help these widows, ICC is providing micro-finance assistance to over 20 Christian widows in Nigeria. The widows will also receive training on how to properly use the money before the aid is distributed. The micro-finance assistance will be used by the widows to start small businesses in their towns so that they can earn a sustainable income for their families to live off of. Praise God that he provided for these faithful women!

These little toys are made in Mexico and size wise are similar to Micro Machines.

The ones like the two trucks come in big bags with many different variations based on the same truck design and sometimes will also have something else like a helicopter or airplane thrown in.

The bulldozer belonged to one of my cousins and is probably from the 1970's I am not sure where he obtained this one.

This teeny tiny swoon block finishes at 2" square - which means the HSTs finish at 1/4"!! I set it on point inside a thing pink border and matchstick quilted it with some variegated thread.
