I'm stampolina and I love to take photos of stamps. Thanks for visiting this pages on flickr.
I'm neither a typical collector of stamps, nor a stamp dealer. I'm only a stamp photograph. I'm fascinated of the fine close-up structures which are hidden in this small stamp-pictures. Please don't ask of the worth of these stamps - the most ones have a worth of a few cents or still less.
By the way, I wanna say thank you to all flickr users who have sent me stamps! Great! Thank you! Someone sent me 3 or 5 stamps, another one sent me more than 20 stamps in a letter. It's everytime a great surprise for me and I'm everytime happy to get letters with stamps inside from you!
thx, stampolina
For the case you wanna send also stamps - it is possible. (...I'm pretty sure you'll see these stamps on this photostream on flickr :) thx!

IL PIACERE DEI RICORDI
_______________________________________________

Made a picture that looked sorta like tumbling dice so what else could I do? Now it's got so many layers you can hardly see them but who cares. It's the song that matters.

Like everyone I have a number of daily routines, my morning coffee, reading the newspaper, showering, working, eating, cooking, cleaning etc etc but the one thing I do without fail every single morning I wake up until 6pm in the evening is listen to music, even when I am at work there is music playing, it is the most relaxing thing for me (besides photography) and hey I can even belt out a tune or two with the odd dance move thrown in lols.
HMM to Everyone

"Highwire" is an anti-war song by The Rolling Stones featured on their 1991 live album Flashpoint.
The song's lyrics deconstructed the build-up to the war, and criticized the politics behind it.
Lyrics:
We sell 'em missiles, We sell 'em tanks
We give 'em credit, You can call up the bank
It's just a business, You can pay us in crude
You'll love these toys, just go play out your feuds
We got no pride, don't know whose boots to lick
We act so greedy, makes me sick sick sick
So get up, stand up, out of my way
I wanna talk to the boss right away
Get up, stand up, who's gonna pay
I wanna talk to the man right away
We walk the highwire
Sending men to the front line
And hoping they don't catch the hell-fire
Of hot guns and cold, cold lies
We walk the highwire
Send the men to the front lines
And tell 'em to hotbed the sunshine
With hot guns and cold, cold lies
Our lives are threatened, our jobs at risk
Sometimes dictators need a slap on the wrist
Another Munich we just can't afford
We're gonna send in the 82nd Airborne
Get up, stand up, who's gonna pay
I wanna talk to the boss right away
Get up, stand up, outta my way
I wanna talk to the man right away
We walk the highwire
Putting the world out on a dead lie
And hoping they don't taste the shell-fire
Of hot guns and cold, cold lies
We walk the highwire
Putting the world out on a dead lie
Catching the fight on the primetime
With hot guns and cold, cold lies
Get up! Stand up!
Dealer! Stealer!
Hey!
We walk the highwire
Sending men to the front line
And hoping that we backed the right side
With hot guns and cold, cold lies
We walk the highwire
Sending men to the front line
And hoping they don't catch the hell-fire
With hot guns and cold, cold, cold, cold, cold lies
We walk the highwire
We walk the highwire
With hot guns and cold, cold, cold lies.
