Richard Kay replaced Barry Woolgar as Loveless: Richard Arthur Kay (16 March 1937-2 July 1985) was a British actor. Originally from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, he is best known for his work in The Count of Monte Cristo (1964), Déjà Vu (1985), Three Sisters (1970) and Wuthering Heights (1978). In television, he appeared in Coronation Street and Juliet Bravo amongst other programmes.
John Vivian Drummond Nettles, OBE, (Lord Foppington) is a British actor and author. He is best known for his starring roles as detectives in the crime drama television series Bergerac (1981-1991) (as title character Jim Bergerac) and Midsomer Murders (1997-2011) (as Tom Barnaby). He has also narrated several television series. John Nettles has been a familiar face on British and International television screens for over thirty years.
Patricia Stephanie Cole OBE (Nurse) is an English stage, television, radio and film actress, known for high-profile roles in shows such as Tenko (1981-1985), Open All Hours (1982-1985), A Bit of a Do (1989), Waiting for God (1990-1994), Keeping Mum (1997-1998), Doc Martin (2004-2009), Cabin Pressure (2008-2014) and as Sylvia Goodwin in ITV soap opera Coronation Street (2011-2013). She trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School from 1958-1960 and went on to consolidate her acting skills in repertory theatres around the United Kingdom. She made her stage debut at the age of 17 playing the eccentric, elderly medium Madame Arcati in Noël Coward's Blithe Spirit. At the age of 63 she returned to the same role when the play was revived at the West End's Savoy Theatre in 2004.
Jonathan Coy is a British actor. He has worked since 1975 largely in television, notably as Henry in the long-running legal series Rumpole and as Bracegirdle in the television series Hornblower, adapted from the books by C. S. Forester. He also appeared as the German character, Kurt, in the British television series Brideshead Revisited, and Colin Grove in The Sandbaggers in 1978. In 2008 he played Lloyd in a UK tour of the play Noises Off, Leonato in the 2011 Wyndham's Theatre production of Much Ado About Nothing, with David Tennant, and Colonel Luykin in Pinero's The Magistrate at the Royal National Theatre in 2012-13.
Henry Moxon (1923-7 November 2013) (Highheels) was born in Doncaster, Yorkshire. He was an actor, known for Great Performances (1971), Coronation Street (1960) and Victorian Scandals (1976). He died in Sidcup, Kent.

Comment: "The emptiness in Simpson's paintings and Levy's chromed metal and silicone (recently escaped from their “design purgatory”) made me think of my local surgery's consultation rooms. And aptly enough both artists disassemble contexts in search of powers in their wonted seats, laying them bare through slick bits of archaeology. Being apparently free from bondage and semantic connections, I felt a strange familiarity with these paintings and sculptures, due perhaps to their new potentials but also (funnily enough) to their inviolable relations to the body.
