Zingiberaceae is a family of herbaceous plants. It has more than a thousand species distributed in fifty genera. Many species have ethnobotanical value, either as spices (including ginger (Zingiber officinale), turmeric (Curcuma longa) and cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) or as ornamentals (such as Alpinia and Hedychium)".

Miami, Florida. The Miami skyline photographed from the upper deck at the Rusty Pelican after a fantastic dinner. 4 panel panorama with each panel composed of three exposures from 4-seconds to 1-minute blended in for a total of 12-images. Native size of the image is 20x85 inches with great detail.

This is another capture of a gorgeous sunrise from Miami's Deering Estate. This County Park is opened generally one (1) day monthly for sunrise and/or moonrise photos. It is definitely worth the entrance fee to enjoy such a spectacular event.

Miami photographed from Key Biscayne - Florida
When I shot Miami's skyline last week I created two images from the long-exposure photos I took. One was Miami. Urban Fantasy. and this is the other one. The technical specifications are on the former one. This image in particular would require a whole webinar to explain what I did. Too long. Perhaps some time in the future... For now, I just share the colorful creation in line with the always spectacular city's unique atmosphere.
