Wat Saket is a Buddhist temple in the Bangkok Old Town area built 1737–1809. There are 300 steps to the top, but for me, the golden view was from the ground.

La parete dell’abside è più ordinata riguardo alla disposizione delle lesene, che sono unite tra loro da tre archetti. Nel pilastro a destra dell’esterno dell’abside vi è scolpita una Croce patriarcale e nel sinistro una Croce puntata , ma si ignora il significato di queste croci.

The apse wall is more orderly with regard to the arrangement of the pilasters, which are joined together by three arches. In the pillar to the right of the outside of the apse there is a sculpted patriarchal cross and in the left a pointed cross, but the meaning of these crosses is unknown.

The circular inside is truly quite magnificent and has aged into a beautiful example of modern architecture.
I hated it when it was built but it has taken on its own personality over the years and is now well accepted as a great work. Must be seen in the flesh to really appreciate its beauty.

FYI, I captured this rare twilight moment before I left the office. Since then, I brought my camera a few times but never get this marvellous colors in the sky again.

- The whistle in the picture is a copy of one of the most popular and enduring whistle designs: the ACME Metropolitan Police whistle. This is a whistle with a rich history, and an iconic look and sound that is all its own.
Pre-1870, the London Metropolitan Police depended on heavy and cumbersome rattles to signal to each other over long distances. They were not particularly effective and an alternative was needed. Joseph Hudson created the Metropolitan Police whistle after an unfortunate incident when a violin was dropped, producing an ear splitting sound. The resulting whistle is an icon of the Metropolitan Police force’s history, one that revolutionised communications for Bobbies on the beat in its time.
It produces a distinct, crisp and reliable sound when used correctly, and its durable design will give you years of faithful service.

The Nash Metropolitan (1954–1962) was a pioneering American subcompact "commuter car" designed by Nash Motors, known for its small size, stylish two-tone paint, and 1.5L Austin engine. Built in England, it was one of the first American cars to be marketed primarily for efficiency and city driving, and it remains a popular, charming collector's item today.

Philadelphia-born and educated William Glackens was moved in 1895 to New York,where he continued to work as a successful newspaper and magazine illustrator.In 1904 he had given up illustration for painting.Yet his talent for which characterization,gesture,and composition continued to influence his art,as seen in this incident-filled scene of a snowy day in Central Park.Like his Ashcan colleague John Sloan,Glackens became an important advocate for progressive painting in the years after the 1913 Armory Show,heading artist organizations and shaping the important modernist collection of his childhood friend Albert C. Barnes.
