This is a replica of a symbol that appears in many places in the computer game Riven. I spent a very long time sawing out the design, then textured a copper disc and riveted them together.

As a kid, I remember several ornamental metalwork shops located on S. Presa. Today, the craft is represented both by newer works and by exceptional remnants of its past such as this wrought iron gate at the former location of Royal Ironworks.

Supplying the souks with lanterns, cutlery and anything else you can imagine that is make of metal these metalworkers hand down generations of knowledge and practice to the next generation so continuing the steady metalwork trade.
