Flickr asked, “What do you want to say to Obama, now that he’s about to become President of the US? A greeting? A warning? Some sage (or silly) advice?"... (blog.flickr.net/en/2008/11/06/a-message-for-obama/) -- Here's my message - what's yours?

Over the past few months, after my election as Lexington County Party Chair and while our County Party was experiencing growth and success, a number of folks from around the County approached me to consider running for the South Carolina Senate.
After prayerful consideration with my husband Jimmy, my family, and folks from throughout the district, I have decided to seek the Republican nomination for the South Carolina Senate in District 23.
Why choose to get involved in State House politics now? Because I believe it is time for us to once again have representation in Columbia that we can be proud of as Republicans.
I hope that you will join me in this endeavor. Please consider supporting my campaign by voting for me in the June 10th Republican Primary for State Senate. You can also sign up on the “Volunteer” page of this site – as well as find out more about me, and about the issues I stand for as a Republican.
A message from one of our supporters to the anti-poaching teams who are working so hard to save the tiger.
